Boulevard of Broken Dreams -- Green Day

----

"What! You've got to be joking!" I yelled at Cisco, Caitlin, and Barry.

"Lexi, just listen-" Caitlin started.

"No! This is bullshit, I don't have PTSD!"

"Most people don't think that at first either." Cisco said.

"I don't have PTSD! No event in my life would make me like that!" I yelled, frustrated.

I didn't want their help, because then they would learn about what I'd done in the past.

I wasn't letting that happen.

"If nothing has happened to you then explained why 20% of your skin is scar tissue Lexi! Explain the third degree burns and the bones that never healed properly!" Barry yelled clearly frustrated with me.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Then I quickly grabbed my phone and walked out of the cortex.

I wasn't ready to tell them.

----

I only made it half way to my apartment when my phone buzzed.

"Dammit Cisco, leave me alone." I muttered, but as I looked at my phone I saw that it was, in fact, Oliver.

Oliver: need help can u come?

I smirked, a good reason to avoid team flash.

Lexi: ya sure i'll take the train. be there in a hour

Oliver: already in Central.

I sighed at Oliver's blunt response, he always made texting difficult.

Lexi: i'll get a cab, where r u?

Oliver: dont call cab, felicity will pick u up

"I just can't catch a break, can I?"

----

Felicity, Diggle and I all stood around a lamp eating the Big Belly Burger that we had picked up on the to the abandoned shack.

We had all been catching up for the past 2 hours while Oliver left to go help Barry.

I heard the motorcycle engine first "Oliver back." I said.

Then I saw the blur of lightning coming towards us. "And he brought Barry." I muttered.

Barry stopped in front of us, shocking Diggle so much that the fries that he had been holding went flying right onto me.

I took a fry off my shoulder and ate it. "Thanks for the fry Dig."

"By the way I gave Oliver like half an hour head start." Barry said.

"Hey Barry." Felicity said.

"Hey Felicity, Lexi." He replied back, his voice laced with concern when he said my name.

I only hummed in respond, trying not to acknowledge him.

"How you doin' Dig?" Barry asked Diggle.

"Your fast."  was all Dig could manage to say.

"Did you guys not tell him?" Barry asked Felicity and I.

"Well seeing is believing... or drooling." Felicity replied.
