Chapter 5: Lock-In Part 2

"K-K-Kid," you stuttered.

"Ya," he replied.

"What this can't be happening but don't worry _____ this will be all over in eight minutes, just hang in there," you said talking to yourself.

"Uhh i think you've lost it ____," Kid said raising an eyebrow.

"Is it that obvious," you said twitching your eye like you were crazy.

"Look why don't we get this over with ok," he reassured you.

"No, i'm sorry i can't, your with Liz i'm not that cold-hearted," you said standing up and placing you hand on his chest.

"It's just a game, she'll understand," Kid replied.

"What are you trying to say Kid," you asked by his comment.

"I don't even know anymore," Kid sighed.

You and Kid were standing really close together. After a minute you realize your hand was still in Kid's chest. You quickly stepped away and blushed like crazy.

"Time's up," Patty chuckled from the other side of the door. You quickly stepped outside to find the bright light of the room shine in your face.

"Now i wish i turned on the lights in there," you said rubbing your eyes.

"Hey ____ can i talk to you for a sec, alone," Liz called from the kitchen. You walked over there and was suddenly pinned to the wall by Liz.

"I am going to ask this once and only once, did you kiss my boyfriend," she clenched her teeth while saying it.

"No i didn't smooch with your boyfriend," you said rather annoyed.

"If i see you making a move on my man, i'll make you wish you were never born," Liz threatened. "Oh and one more thing," she said while grabbing a cup of water. She then spilled it on your pjs. "If tell this to anyone, you will be tortured without anyone knowing," she continued to threat. You walked out to the living room all soaked in water when Soul noticed you. "____ why are you all wet," he asked.

"Oh um while i was drinking water, Liz accidently bumped into me and i spilled it all over myself, so i need to change," you lied. You then turned to Kid.

"Kid where's the bathroom," you asked.

"Down the hall to the right," he instructed. "Good thing i brought an extra pair," you looked through your backpack which contained the contents you packed. You then rushed to the bathroom and changed. You looked in the mirror. "What's her deal," you asked yourself at the edge of crying. Then there was a knock at the door. "Hey _____ you ok in there," someone asked, it was Kid.

"Umm ya everything's peachy," you said while your voice cracked a bit.

"A-Are you crying," Kid asked.

"Um ya i just stubbed my toe and it hurts like crazy," you lied once again.

"Oh well um i just wanted to check because you took a long time so ya," he explained.

"Well i'm fine so ya," you said unlocking the door. You had your bangs covering your stained eyes. "Let's just go back to the group," you said softly pushing Kid out of your way. When you reached the group you started to yawn. "Hey guys i'm going to sleep, bother me, it won't be pretty," you threatened.

"Ok we wont," Soul said raising his hands. You placed your earbuds in and fell asleep. "I'm making it easier for you guys," you warned. You listened to songs that were a bit related to your situation. First song you put was 'Love Story' by Taylor Swift.
