Soul helped me into my apartment and set me down on the couch. For a while it was just awkward silence until he spoke up.
"You feeling any better?"
"Well let's see, i was shot in the ankle, almost attacked by a kishin, and now hardly able to go to the bathroom by myself, other than that im totally fine," you joked. At that Soul let out a soft chuckle. But then your stomach let out a soft growl meaning you needed food.
"Sounds like your hungry," Soul smirked.
"What makes you say that," you questioned.
"Stomachs don't lie." And with that he went to the kitchen and opened the fridge.
"Hey save me some food," you yell from the living room.
"Chillax i just wanted to see what you might like," he tried to calm you down.
"You could have just asked me first before leaving."
"What would you like then?" he asked.
"Anything that can fill my stomach that's for sure," you laughed.
"Ima make you the best sandwich ever," Soul joked.
"Whatever you say," you said laying back on the couch. Just as you were reaching the remote, the door flew open.
"____, ____, ARE YOU OK, IT'S GOING TO BE ALRIGHT, PATTY'S HERE FOR YOU NOW," Patty said bursting in running in circles.
"Patty, chill i'm alright, it just hurt's a bit," you said raising your hands to calm her down.
"Liz you have to come in, we weren't there to see her when she woke up," a male voice was heard in the hallway.
"I don't feel like it, i'll just see her when she can be able to go to school," a female whined. Your face then tunred into the palest color you could think of. Thoses voices belonged to Liz and Kid. Just then you see Kid walking in, struggling and dragging Liz across the floor. After a while she stood up and dusted herself off.
"___ sorry we weren't there when you woke up," Kid frowned.
"It's ok," you fainted a smile.
"Here, it was Kid's idea," Patty said handing your favorite kind of flowers. Smelling them brought you back memories of when you were little.
~Flashback~
"Come on Kid, run faster," you yelled to him running up the hill.
"How about you slow down, i can't keep up," Kid panted. You finished running up the hill and saw Kid colapse while panting. You then ran to him in case. You placed his arm around your shoulder then carried him all the way to the top.
"You didn't have to do that," he said stumbling a bit backwards.
"Well i did, what if you were hurt, or even worse, DEAD," you said terrified. You then layed down in the daisy's as Kid joined you. You were head to head laying down so it wasn't awkward. You then pointed to a cloud unsure of what it looked like.
"Hey Kid, that cloud looks like a--," you were then cut off by Kid as he saw what cloud you were pointing at.
"_____! THAT'S A WRONG SHAPE, I HOPE YOU NEVER LEARN WHAT THAT IS," Kid exclaimed. You then giggled at his reaction.
"Kid, promise me no matter what happens, we'll stay best friends forever," you told him.
"I promise, forever," he smiled holding a pinky in front of your face. Once you noticed, you both locked pinkies.
