Everybody sat down at the table already eating while you just picked at the food, you liked it but you just weren't that hungry.
"Hey you okay? You're not really eating," you asked looking concerned.
"No, no, it's fine, I'm just not hungry, that's all," you placed down your fork and took a sip of water.
"So (Y/N), how long have you known Soul? A few days? Weeks? Months?," his mother had asked.
"About three months I believe, I had just came to his school not too long ago so that's that," you answered with a faint smile.
"I see, and what do you do for a living, any hobbies?"
"On my free time I would write books of my own but that was a long time ago, right now I just read and read until my eyes give out."
"Anything else you'd like to tell us cause I'm all out of ideas," she chuckled.
"Well one of Soul's friends named Kid was my childhood friend and our familes are pretty tight," you said showing your fingers crossed.
"I see," she took a gaze at the clock,
"My word, Shinji it's past your curfew, (Y/N) could you please get him to sleep?"
"Ya sure no problem," you smiled adjusting your arm bandages as you got up.
"Buuuut Mooooooom! Ganny isn't even here yet," you whined to his mother.
"I already told you, she can't make it because of her tour, now run along," she shooed him up the stairs as you trailed along. As you waited for Shinji outside the bathroom, you took a look around the fancy surroundings. Everything was just so... fancy.
                              (Cue Iggy Azalea...)
"All done," he smiled, "C'mon, my room's this way." He took a hold of your wrist, dragging you into a room fit for a king. You stared in awe at such a view. Shinji was adjusted in bed and held out a book.
"Can you read this to me? Mommy and Daddy never have the time to," he stared at you with puppy eyes. You giggled taking the book from his grasp.
"Alright, anything you'd like," you smiled looking at the cover.
'A Fired Up Love,' you thought looking at the cover. You opened it up seeing it was a picture book. You cleared your throat and began to read.
"Long ago, there lived a beautiful princess in a beautiful castle far, far, away. Her prince would visit her night and day and day and night. She lived a happy life, along with loving parents.
Until the young queen had passed away and everything was silent in the castle. The princess' life began to rot away, everything she had, she was losing. The prince charming kept coming and coming, but she had lost interest.
The king had enough of lonliness and yet, he decided to lock her young daughter in a far away tower, locked away until her prince will come. The tower was guarded by a fire breathing dragon who would keep anyone away. The princess was all alone in that tower until the dragon decided to speak.
"Oi, why are you sad?" The dragon had asked through the window.
"I'm all alone and I need my life back, how the way it used to be," she looked at the dragon.
"Well don't worry, I'm here if ya need anything, I may look ferocious, but I'm just a pink-haired goofball," he grinned from ear to ear.
(If you haven't figured out who I'm talking about yet, dishonor on you, dishonor on your family, dishonor on your cow)
Everyday the dragon would talk to the young princess, keeping her company. Occasionally, he would take her on adventures, take her to see places. The princess didn't need any prince, what she needed was the dragon.
Years passed as the princess grew older and older. She layed in her death bed, looking up at the dragon.
"Don't die princess, I'll miss you if you die," he teared up at the seems.
"Don't worry, I'll always have the memories you gave me, It's always fun when we're together," she spoke her lasts words before shutting her eyes into an eternal slumber.
And even though the dragon's one true love had gone, he still kept on living, just for her, The End," you yawned as you closed the book.
"I love that book more than candy," Shinji rubbed his eyelids, "And speaking of love, you know my big brother loves you, right?"
You nodded rubbing his head just before he went to sleep. You walked back downstairs and looked at Soul.
"We should really get going Soul, it's pretty late," you yawned.
"Alright, bye Mom, bye Dad," Soul hugged his parents goodbye.
"It was a pleasur meeting you (Y/N), take care," Soul's father smiled.
"Same here," you shook his hand. As you both exited the mansion, you took a look back and smiled.
"C'mon, stop looking at this place and let's get going," Soul chuckled. You mounted the motorcycle and you both rode off.
