Layler’s POV.

It has been a week now and I have finally decided to tell Jerry about the pregnancy. I already told Bauti about the whole situation I just didn't tell him that Jerry is my baby daddy, that would be me giving out a detailed police report and man I hate the police.

It's Saturday afternoon and a little birdie told me that Jerry would be at work today and it is a Saturday so the office might be a bit empty so that means not everyone will be there to witness the breaking news.

I am sitting here in my Chiron contemplating about what exactly am I going to tell him. I am wearing blue jeans and a grey hoody with black converse shoes.

I get out of the car and I walk into the building, there were 3 cars parked in the parking lot when I got here, one is Jerry's and the other two I assume belong to his minions.
The building looks empty so I make my way to the elevator.

"Listen dude you came into me sideways and now we have a problem" nope that's not polite.

"You came into me incorrectly now I am pregnant" I am not even trying, I whack myself on the head as I stop trying to form the right sentence, pregnancy is pregnancy that's it.

I reach the 15th floor and I find that the door is slightly open as I walk closer I hear men’s voices. I walk to the door and I remain completely silent.

"Caleb, killing Layler isn't an option" I hear Jerry say.

"Yes nephew, although we do not know what she might do if we do not" Someone else says.

"Uncle Frank why haven't you killed her! You already killed her father anyway"

Frank? Father? Nephew no, no, no, no, no Jerry and the young man I assume is Caleb ...they are-
OMG Jerry is the nephew of Frank! Frank is here in this room and I am not prepared!

"Shut up you two!" Frank says.
Clearly I missed their bickering.

"She is my daughter okay" Frank shouts.

I discovered that he has a daughter, her location isn't clear yet it seems like she has been kept a secret...Alvaro's words play over and over in my head.

He has a daughter and he just referred to me as his daughter, this man is insane. I realize that everyone became silent and it took me a minute to realize that they are silent because I opened the door fully in shock and I just stood there like a manikin on display.

"Layler" Jerry says while walking towards me.

"Do not get any closer"

"How long have you been standing there?" Frank asks.

I look at everyone in this room one by one in the eyes. I had no control over what happened next.

I pushed Jerry to the floor, pulled the chair that the Caleb dude was sitting on, I pull it from behind and I use great force to push him and the chair to the side. I send the laptop on Jerry's table flying across the room, I jump the desk and then I stand face to face with Frank Mercy.

This day came rather soon, he kills my parents and then he calls himself my father! My mother hated him, unless he switched kids in the hospital, I am no child of the devil.

"You sick bastard" I say as I grab him by the collar and I push him next to the window.

"If I didn't have better plans for your death I would have pushed you through this window seconds ago" I hiss.

He gives me a frazzled look and then he keeps quiet, Jerry and Caleb do not even bother to defend their uncle, bunch of weak bastards ...they need weapons to react.

"Listen and listen very well, I told you years back that I will come for you, I gave you a head start a long time ago, you had tricks along the track, but I finally caught up with you, we’re almost at the end of the race, but you will not make it to the finish Line" I say and he laughs as if I just said some funny joke.

"Okay laugh, killing you and your family and little daughter you have in hiding will be funny anyway."
I say as I punch him and he lands rights on the floor. I walk towards the door and I stop and give them one look again and then I walk away waving a subtle "toddles" to the jerks.
