Chapter Twenty-One- School

2 WEEKS LATER
NOVEMBER 9TH, FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.

I put on my school dress and did up the buttons. 'Ew, it's so long!' I think to myself. I move over to my closet and grabbed out my sewing kit I received for my 13th birthday. I grabbed out a needle and a roll of cotton and rolled up my dress so it now reached nearly mid-thigh. I pressed down the crease and began to sew. Once I had done that, I put on the school jumper over it. I do a little twirl in front of my full-length mirror. It still looks ugly, but hey, that's what school uniforms are for, right? I chuck on a pair of white socks and my oh-so-sexy Tbars. I sneak a look at my clock. 15 minutes until I have to go. I rush into the bathroom and straighten my hair before putting it in a high ponytail. I only put on the makeup that I need such as concealer. I sling my boho bag over my shoulder and walk into the loving room, ready to go. Jai gets up off the couch in his uniform ad hugs me.
"You look great babe." He whispers on my ear as his mum is in the room too. I blush and return the smile.
"You too handsome." I whisper back.
He smiles and grabs my hand as we exit the apartment.

As Jai and I stand at the bus stop, more and more students arrive. They are all attending the same school as us. Some girls in super short dresses and piercingly glare at us, some girls fan girl over Jai, some guys whistle at me which makes Jai get closer to me protectively, and other guys yell things like 'GAY' at Jai which makes me angry and I flip them the bird. This makes Jai laugh and the guys get embarrassed because obviously they were trying to impress me. The bus pulls up and we get on and sit around the middle section- not too close to the nerds at the front, not too close to the year twelves at the back. We are just minding our own business, when suddenly Jai gets hit in the back of the head with a paperball. He unravels the paper and begins to read it...

II'm really if there are any mistakes, I wrote this whilst on the treadmill and I'm really bad at multitasking, so yeah, you can see why that would be bad :/
