Sorry for the delay. But henceforth, there will be regular updates! More info at the end! Annd God, I'm seriously never getting over this handsome man!
"What would you like to have?" The waiter asks me with a smile as I flip another page of the menu card. After that walk, we directly returned to the garden restaurant of the hotel because I am starving. The grass feels wet and soft and the fairy lights all around the lawn gives off a real chill vibe.
"Just a Margarita pizza, extra cheese. And add some black olives please. Oh yes, also maybe mushrooms. Do you do pizzas with tomatoes?" I look up at him and he gives me a confused smile.
"Yes. Sun-dried." He replies, clearing his throat.
"Perfect. So, add some sun-dried tomatoes as well. And what kind of cheese do you offer?" I look up at him again and this time he gives a look which says, this woman is seriously just pretending like she's been in a fancy restaurant earlier. But she hasn't.
"All kinds?" He scratches the back of his neck with a chuckle.
"Are you asking or are you answering?" I close my menu card a bit loudly than considered polite. But honestly, is this man trying to humiliate me?
"Ally-" Nathan starts but I throw him a death glare and he shuts up instantly.
"I'm sorry, ma'm-" The waiter speaks but he is cut off by Nathan.
"Its okay. Just add in all the kinds of cheese that you have, make it extremely cheesy. Like the cheese should drip out of the pizza and be very very generous with the tomatoes. Sun-dried, is it?" Nathan looks across at me to confirm with a side smile. I nod my head without returning any and lean back in the chair.
"Will do. May I?" The waiter picks up Nathan's menu card and then bends to pick up mine.
"I need this, thank you." I give him a not-so-polite smile and he just runs away.
"What was that?" Nathan asks me with a solemn stare, his arms crossed against his chest.. Aunt and Uncle are off to somewhere, Nathan booked them tickets to some show. I don't care as long as I get pizza.
"Seriously? Couldn't you see? He was laughing at me." My voice gets a bit aggressive.
"Anyone would! Did you hear yourself?" He chuckles and shakes his head. Why is everyone laughing at me? I won't tolerate any insulting gestures.
"Know what? I'm not hungry." I push my chair back and get up. A look of annoyance crosses Nathan's face. He doesn't even stop me once. How lovely!
"Goodnight." I walk past him in slow steps, hoping he'd stop me. Call my name out.
Come on Nathan.
Damn it, I'm hungry! And that pizza's going to be extra drippingly cheesy.
Nope, I can't leave it out.
So kicking my little left self esteem to a corner, I turn around to get back to the table again. As I sit down, Nathan starts laughing.
"What?" I ask in a bored voice.
"I was thinking maybe I'd have to eat the entire pizza by myself. Thanks for coming back." He says with a smile, his dimple coming to light. GOD, I need this man in my life. Not even want. NEED.
"No problem." I smile a genuine smile and he breaks out into a laugh.
"What's so funny?" I ask him curiously.
"You're such a digger for pizzas. Oh Lord," he wipes the tears escaping his eyes, "I thought I might have to call you back but my inner voice was betting you'd return." His voice loses the humour a bit in the end.
