Dedicated to one of my sweetest readers who is so sweet that (s)he thanks me everytime I update! It touched me so much and I really appreciate it. Thank you, hon <3  Also, this chapter is from Mr. you-know-who 's POV, muhahaha you weren't expecting that, now were you?

Nathan's POV:

She walks out of the room and I think I saw her smile. There's something about this girl, Anne. Its like I'm being drawn to her even when I don't want to. Like the more I resist, the more I get pulled.

Why am I even thinking about her?

I shake my head to clear it of the thoughts and focus on the figures in front of me again. Only two minutes into the analytical graphs and my minds drifts back to last night. The way her body felt against me, the shape of her physique, the curve of her breasts, the dip of her waist, damn the feel of her buttocks, its all too similar. Like I've touched her before, like I've felt all the curves in the same exact places.

Why am I thinking about her again?

Maybe staring at this screen is not helping. Maybe I should look up the file I asked her to get. And so I proceed to flip open the file.Hardly one minute and I am hit with the thought of the way she talked to me this morning. I'm not the kind of P.A. you think I am. Her voice echoes in my ears. I'm such an asshole to make a lady feel like she's something lower than what she is. This is not what I've been taught. Mom wouldn't be proud. But the way she stood her ground, its so similar to what Ally would do.

Hell, why am I thinking about her again?!

I shut the file with force and lean back in the chair with my eyes closed. The image of her in the red dress that she wore last night comes to my mind. Lose her glasses and the nose, she is the second most beautiful girl I've come across, after Ally.

Ally.

Why would she not answer my calls? I mean apart from the obvious reason, she would've definitely answered after the thousand calls I left. Even if to only make me feel worse about what I did, but she'd still answer. There's something wrong and I have to find out. Immediately. As I am trying to think of what I can do next, three knocks on my door break me out of my thoughts.

"Yes?" I say back and it flies open. In walks the very dreadful face of my father.

Kayden Hale, himself.

"Good morning, son." He greets with his evil grin and I sit straight, not bothering to return the gesture.

"What do you want?" I ask him as he pulls out the chair opposite to me.

"You know very well, don't you?" He draws his suit closer as he sits down, fixing it of any creases.

"I told you I'll get back within a week. Now leave." I move my hand over the mouse so that the screen of my laptop would turn back on.

"I have an offer to make." He says and I look at his eyes. Evil brown eyes.

"I'm not open to any." I respond calmly and turn my attention back to the graph in front of me.

"I'll give the company, all to you, every last share, if only you marry the girl I tell you to." He speaks anyway and when he finishes, I find myself holding my breath. I don't look at him or show like its affecting me but those words shook my world in under a minute.

"Don't you think its in the best interest of you, son?" He stresses on the last word, knowing it irritates me.

"I'll think about it. You know your way out." I speak without making eye contact. After an audible smirk he gets up and leaves my cabin.
