Dedicated to another lovely reader! Love you xx
I finally drop down on my bed, tired from all the effort of finding a good enough dress. I know it shouldn't even matter anymore, because its the party where they literally announce they're getting hitched. Any woman with a sane mind would be six feet under Ben & Jerry's right now, with a chick flick on and her girlfriend by her side.
But I'm Ally Ricosta and I don't do that chick flick stuff.
I'm going to dress the best I have in years, so good it would make heads turn. I hate to admit this but I feel like that is somehow the easiest way for me to regain my long lost confidence. And it isn't like I'm making too much effort, this is what I used to be before he came in to ruin any chances I had at a good life. But he's now going away and the least I can do is start being me, the version of me which was successful and happy, contradictory to the one that I witness these days.
But everything is about to change.
That's what I think as my eyes fall across the date 26 crossed on the calender. The day I return to London.
"Have you decided?" Lydia walks into the room in all her bed hair glory and I shake my head with a frown.
"How about we go shopping? There's this new Versace showroom down a few blocks from my boutique, its really cool. Plus we could even grab some burgers on our way."
"Stop pretending like that isn't the only reason you wanna go out." I give her a smirk and she returns one.
"Great job then, let's just do the burgers. I can totally get you into a dress you already own and make it look brand new." With a wink she walks out and I smile at myself.
Its going to be one hell of a night!

As promised, Lydia chose a blue full length dress for me from my wardrobe. It fit my figure just right, highlighting the curves in all the right paces. The dress hugs me tight on my upper body and then loosens progressively all the way down.
"Whoa, I am not going to run around screaming if Nathan wants to run out of this marriage." Lydia whistles as she picks up the foundation from the table.
"I don't care anymore."
"Right. Can you just shut your sorry ass up?"
And that, ladies and gentlemen, was my cue to keep my mouth sealed for the rest of my makeup session.
"I bet there's going to be half of the TV industry tonight, you're definitely going to make some fall at your feet!" She exclaims once I'm ready and turning at odd angels, trying to take a glance from each one.
"But I don't watch one series so its kind of doesn't matter." Maybe, just maybe, this night could be half as eventful as Lydia hopes.
"Life is so unfair, I swear! I'll always be on S.O.S., you know that right?" I turn around to give her the warmest smile and she blows me a kiss in return.
"Ally, I'm serious. I can tell Mike I had an appointment, if you aren't feeling very well about this, I can come with you. Also, take this as a major hint that I am desperate to join you only because I'm guessing Josh Mitchell is going to be there, because he and Angelina are like the biggest thing in the fandom right now and what I wouldn't give to have that man at an arm's distance! Damn, I must expand my services to male celebrities as well. Its such a torture to live without meeting these hot guys."
WOW!
"Lydia, how old are you? Twelve? And you're part of a fandom?!" I roll my eyes and sit down to slip on my matching blue heels which had little faux diamonds on its straps.
