(Jeff's POV)

I went to my room as fast as possible. The burning sensation on my hands were starting to get irritating.

I washed my hands on the sink in my bathroom. I noticed I had small cuts on my knuckles. Probably from the impact of being repeatedly jammed to Randy's face.

Then I looked for alcohol and bandages. I was surprised to see Liu using them to treat a cat's wound.

"What are you doing?" He jumped in surprise.

"Jeff!! Uhmmm you're home. I didn't notice." He scratched the back of his neck.

He does that when he's nervous.

He attempted to hide the fur ball behind him. But after a few seconds it started meowing loudly.

"Didn't mom and dad tell you to stop bringing street animals home?" I scolded.

Even though I'm younger.

"I couldn't stop myself. The poor thing was injured." He reasoned.

"You're so dead when they find out." I warned. 

Says the guy that just beat somebody up.

Shut up me.

"I was going to let him out anyway. Don't tell mom and dad." He pleaded.

"Just let me borrow those." I gestured to the alcohol and bandages.

"What do you need them for?" He wondered.

I showed him my injured knuckles.

"If I don't tell, you don't either." I told him.

We nodded in agreement.

"Ooow! Liu be more gentle!" I whined as I blew on my bloodied knuckles. He was applying alcohol on them. 

I was able to hide my hands in my hoodie pockets through the bus ride. It's amazing how Jane didn't even notice.

"How did you even get these?" He asked, his voice laced with concern.

"Well- I tried to help that Jane girl out. Those bullies were messing with her. Randy was getting a little too friendly. She obviously didn't like it. So, I lend her a hand." I explained and shrugged. He looked up at me in surprise.

"What?" I asked, I don't like what that stare is implying.

"It was just payback for helping us this morning." I reasoned.

Why else would I help her?

"But didn't you get mad when she helped us?" Liu raised an eyebrow.

"She was persistent, there was nothing else I could've done. They even ignored me when they started flirting remember?" I spat

"We're you jealous?"

"Seriously Liu? Come on, I just met her." I felt the urge to vomit.

"Good then. For a second there I thought my baby brother was becoming a man and finally getting a girlfriend." He joked.

"It's not like you have one." I rolled my eyes at him.

"How are you going to explain this to mom and dad once they find out? They'll be furious."

"Geez, I help a girl out and somehow I'm the bad guy." I crossed my arms.

"That's not what I meant. It's just that, based on the injuries you sustained. You did more than just defending Jane.
