(Jeff's POV)
"Liu... and Jane?" I couldn't help but notice their intertwined hands.
"What the hell happened?" I gestured to Jane and her messed up hair and clothes.
"Everything's fine. I'm just taking her to the nurse." Liu answered, I saw Jane's hand break the hold.
"A-actually I think I'm okay." Jane spoke up and avoided my gaze.
"You still need that shirt don't you?" He reminded. I didn't know why, but something just felt wrong about everything that's happening right in front of me.
                              Don't let her go...
"I'll handle it." My body just decided to do things on its own, including taking Jane's hand.
"You sure, bro?" My annoying older brother asked.
"I'm sure. She is my roommate." I excused, he bought and nodded in understanding.
"Alright then, I hope you feel better Jane.." he bid farewell. I saw the faint tint of pink on her cheeks.
"Come on." I muttered as I tugged her sleeve.
Once we were in the hallways I stopped in front of her.
"Alright, start talking. What the f*ck were you doing with my brother?" I looked down at her demanding answers.
"Some girls decided to fight me and he managed to stop us." She explained very fast.
                              "Who?" I asked darkly.
"Hang on... Why do you care all of a sudden?" She raised an eyebrow at me.
                              "I don't." I simply responded.
"Why did you escort me then?" She complained annoyingly.
"I'm just trying to get some answers."
"And that benefits you... how?" She argued.
"I might hire these chicks to personally torment you every single day." I excused with a shrug.
"I already have a person that torments me from day to day and he just so happens to be the first face I see when I wake up. Besides, I doubt you even have money to pay them." As she finished her sentence I noticed how she was slightly struggling to deliver the words. Her right hand clutched at the back of her head.
                              Was she hit with something?
"Jane, who hurt you?" I held both her shoulders and looked into her eyes, she was surprised at how genuine I sounded.
"Niña..." My crazy ex, who is absolutely still obsessed with me?
"Why would that crazy b*tch bother you?" Despite maybe the jealousy for her being my roommate, other than that nothing.
"She's jealous, I mean she thinks that you and I are dating." She slightly chuckled.
"It goes to show how f*cked up her brain really is." I commented. She laughed a little but still held her head, she was obviously in pain.
"Come on, we'll get you an ice pack or something for that head of yours." I grabbed a hold of her hand once more.
"And I'll let you borrow my hoodie. Just this once." They continued with the journey to the clinic.
                              Back in the dorm~
A few hours later after school, the incident wasn't spoken of until Jane decided to bring it up. Meanwhile I was plotting how to deal with Niña.
