The day is today. I'm so excited to see her again, after 1 year and a half ay magkikita na kami ulit.
"I will miss you Valdez"
Kim said and hugged me.
"Ikaw din. Mamimiss kita. Stay strong sa inyo ni Mela"
I said while smiling from ear to ear.
"Yeah thanks. Umaasa ako na pagnagkita tayo ulit, sana kasal na kayo ni Den"
"Woah! Pero sige ba. Uhmm. Ingat ka dito. I have to go. See you when I see you again. Good bye!"
Masayang paalam ko dito nakita ko naman ang pagpatak ng luha nito.
"Yuck Kim! Umiiyak ka? Magkikita pa tayo!"
Panunukso ko dito.
"Uto! Basta hah? Magkikita pa tayo sabi mo yan!"
Sabi nito sabay suntok sa braso ko.
"Oo nga. Sige bye for now"
Huling paalam ko dito bago pumasok sa airport.
Good bye for now my friend.

3rd Person PoV
Abala ang lahat sa paghahanda para sa birthday ni Dennise pero ang dalaga ay walang imik habang nakatingin lang sa bintana ng kaniyang kwarto.
"Besh.. Malungkot ka na naman"
Napalingon naman si Den sa may pinto ng kaniyang kuwarto at nakita niya si Ella na nakatayo mula doon.
"Babalik pa kaya siya besh? Its been a year since she left. I really miss her."
Dennise said while biting his lower lip to keep her tears not to fall from her eyes.
Lumapit naman si Ella at umupo sa kama ni Den.
"Are you afraid?"
Ella sincerely asked.
"Afraid ? Saan naman?"
"Afraid of fake promises "
"Maybe I am."
Dennise said and handed Ella a piece of paper.
There's a poem written on the paper.
Ella silently read it.

After Ella read that tumingin siya kay Dennise na nakatingin lang sa bintana.
Hinwakan naman nito ang balikat niya.
"Just don't be afraid, besh. Be happy for now. Everything happens for a reason"
Ella said before leaving Dennise alone.
Pagsarado ng pinto ay hindi na napigilan ni Dennise ang lumuha.
"Don't leave me Alyssa...please don't."
She said between her sobs.

Den's birthday.
Kanina pa gising si Dennise pero para wala siyang ganang bumangon, feeling niya ay walang saya ang magiging kaarawan niya dahil wala si Alyssa.
