Chapter 3

It was almost 10:00 when Masky and Hoodie finally returned back to the mansion. By then Hoodie was almost dead from the amount of blood that he had lost and Masky was ready to collapse from having to carry Hoodie the entire way back. As soon as Masky walked in the mansion he collapsed with Hoodie to the ground unconscious. A boy wearing an outfit similar to Link, from the Legend of Zelda came running up. It was BEN Drowned. When he saw Masky and Hoodie lying unconscious on the ground he yelled, "Hey Slendy! Ready the medical room! It's an emergency!" As soon as he said that a few other people came out to see what the emergency was. Among them was Jeff the killer, Ticci Toby, and E.J. After seeing Masky and Hoodie on the floor they all rushed to help get them to their makeshift infirmary. Slenderman was already waiting inside and immediately used his black tentacles to grab his two proxies and begin to bandage their wounds and heal their broken bones. When he was finished he laid each of them down on a bed and walked out to return to his office. Outside the door he spotted BEN and decided to ask a favor, "BEN!" "Yes?" the startled boy replied. "I need you to contact Shadowfang and tell her to come and help with the situation. I want to know what happened to them ASAP!" "Y-Yes sir!" Ben replied before taking off to his computer. Once there he began to type an email to ShadowFang it read,

Dear Shadow Fang,

We have a major emergency back at base and we need your skills to help figure out what is going on! Both Masky and Hoodie were attacked and when they got here they were both barely alive and Hoodie had a knife in his shoulder! We would ask them what happened ourselves but Slenderman says that they won't wake up for about a week. So that's why we need you to come over to the mansion and try and figure out what is going on.

BEN read over the email before sending it to Shadowfang's email address hoping that she would get back soon. If she didn't it meant that they would have to figure out the mystery themselves and he knew that that option was hopeless! Especially with Jeff!

Shadowfang was not a proxy but she was still allowed to stay in the mansion whenever she felt like it. Shadowfang always wore a strange mask that hid most of her face except for her mouth and eyes. She also wore her hood up so that they never really saw her hair either. In fact, if BEN really thought about it none of them had ever really seen what Shadowfang looked like! Overall Shadowfang, Shadow for short, was a very secretive girl and even the information that they had about her was the bare minimum.

BEN just sighed and made a mental note to try and figure out more about shadowfang later when she came. IF she came! BEN looked at his email anxiously waiting for a reply. Oh *sensored*! What if she's out killing! I am so dead if I interrupted her! Ben thought as her began to imagine all the torture that she would put him through if he had interrupted her. Last time he was lucky to get out with just a broken arm and a bunch of bruises and cuts! Oh well. I guess that I can't do anything now. I can only hope that she wasn't interrupted while killing! Ben again thought of his possible awaiting torture.

Just then his computer dinged, signifying that Shadowfang had replied to his email. Shakily, he opened his laptop and read the message.

Dear BEN,

I will be there as soon as possible to see what I can do. Also... HOW DARE YOU INTERRUPT MY KILLING TIME! I was in the middle of killing someone when you emailed me! I swear that when I get back I am going to put you through the torture of a lifetime! And for the last time I am NOT your girlfriend so don't address me with the word love!
