There were pillars that led across this big casm to another part of the building. There was also a tight ledge with a line of rusted chains above it to hang onto.

Now most people would go the safe route and go for the path with the chains but nah I climbed onto Trico then we jumped from pillar to pillar all the way across.

On the second to last pillar Trico started to hesitate and he let out a little whimper-growl.

"What's wrong boy? It's just one last pillar, no problem." I said as I looked at the pillar and then up above and I saw a shadow with a long tail. I looked up even more and there was a dark figure that looked exactly like Trico just with bigger wings and a bigger tail. As soon as it saw me looking at it, it turned and fled into a nearby doorway way above our heads.

"W-what was that?" I asked terrifed as I grabbed Trico's feathers more tightly. Trico didn't answer he just stared up and growled.

"Trico c'mon time to go." I said wanting to get away from this place and on to more solid ground.

Trico finally understood what I said and lept to the other side. I climbed off him and I saw a gate with gaps to small for either of us to crawl through so I climbed up a rusty old ladder that led to a second floor with a giant lever in the left corner. I went over to it and with all my might, I pulled it and I heard rumbling and something moving.

I went back down the ladder to see Trico's face right in front of mine as I grabbed the first step at the top of the ladder.

"Hi, how ya doin?" I said rubbing his soft black nose. He growled a little and jumped around very happy making me giggle and go through the doorway with Trico bounding behind me.

On the other side was a mysterious door with an outline of a blue rock with the same glowing symbols on it as the disk and the mirror. As I tried to figure out what is was for Trico roared at a small statue on the ground and it had the same blue horns as Trico.

"What is it Trico? It's just a statue."

Trico didn't respond in any way he just kept staring at the statue and his eyes were glowing in the fighting, danger, sense.

When I got close to them they began to change into the soldiers from the cave from where I found Trico. Trico roared again then grabbed me in his mouth and ran over to a wooden door. He didn't even stop he just rammed and broke down the door and he just kept going.

We came to a gap that was way to big for him to clear.

"Trico!" I yelled as I tried to get him to stop.

Trico ignored me and he sped up and jumped. We started going down but his wings suddenly had a small sprout and allowed us to glide just enough to get us to the other side.

Trico dropped me onto the ground and we both sat there panting and exhausted. I finally stood up and went over to him and put one hand on his left front leg and looked up at him and said, "you...need to warn me about these things because...boy...my little heart just cannot take it!"

He just shook himself off and pushed me over gently with his nose.

"Ey! Watch it!" I told him brushing myself off and walking into the next room.

He just snorted and walked behind me looking around, making sure that it was safe. I turned to look at him and he was on two legs and trying to get something with his mouth.

I grabbed his leg feathers and started climbing up. I jumped off his head when I got to the top and looked for what he wanted. My eyes landed on a barrel that was halfway buried in the ground. I went over to it and pulled it out of the ground and gave it to Trico.

He chomped on it happily then helped me down. I wondered where the other Trico went as we traveled. I knew it wasn't going to leave us alone if it was watching us. We needed to either befriend it or take it out.
