Hey guys this is just a mini author's note at the beginning because I am typing this first couple parts and I have done everything on my phone so bear with me for any mistakes.
Once we got out of the cave and jumped up a very steep incline there was a larger area with pillars lining the back wall along with torches. I jumped off Trico minding my leg, which had gotten a little better but still not one hundred percent. I limped my way over past the pillars, to another staircase. But, before I got down one stair Trico grabbed my shirt collar and put me back on his back. I sighed as Trico went down the stairs with ease into an open area with very green trees and grass. Before I could get off him he raised his head and let out a roar toward the giant tower we were trying to reach. I didn't realize we had gotten so close already.
I got on my knees and pointed toward a small and narrow path leading across the ledge. trico turned his head and started toward the path and went under a waterfall and then the path came to a stop. We looked around for another way, and Trico found the way first. It was straight ahead but up higher than we were. I have no idea how I didn't see it but I just pointed to it and we continued on our way. Couple more jumps later we reaches a platform that was blocked my a large metal gate and the only way around was a small line of stones and slabs of wood which I had to go across.
I put my hands against the wall and very carefully made my way across the rocks and a couple more steps later jumped up onto planks of wood. I had to hang on them because the stone above was not tall enough for me to climb up. I made my way to a point where I could stand back up on top and give my hands a break. The path went from stones to planks, and back to stones.
At the end of the path I was very exhausted but I could not stay here for long because I had to get Trico off that platform out in the open incase Evil Trico was near. I ran through more grass in another open place and there was a very small and shallow pool of water near a fallen pillar. I ran past it and turned left to where Trico and the gate was. Next to the gate against the wall was a lever. I pulled it and the gate rose and Trico stepped through and started forward. He turned right and stared into the distance. Then he bounced a small bit and ran outside and slid to a stop.
I looked for another way out as Trico played in the small puddle. Straight ahead and a a little to the left was a doorway that led to another blue arena. Of course it was big enough for Trico to fit through.
"Trico," I called hesitantly to my companion. he lifted his head out of the puddle with little drops of water falling from his nose. He came over to me and brought his head down to my head height and pushed his nose toward me, wanting him to pet him. So I did.
After petting him I took the lead down the hallway with Trico close behind. A couple steps from the lip leading to a drop off into the cage I heard Trico growl and a hint of purple-pink light that came from his eyes colored the walls. On both sides of the cage were sturdy beams that made an easy way down. Knowing that Trico wouldn't go down unless I went down first I went over to the pillar on the right. I hung off the edge of the pillar and dropped down two more beams until I reached the floor.
As soon as my feet hit the floor two soldiers sprung up out of their resting positions and came for me. The beam above my head was to high for me to climb back up.
"Trico! Get down here now please!" I yelled desperately running around the outside the cage. There was one final roar from Trico before he came crashing down in the middle of the cage missing both of the soldiers. The small beacon activated and the soldiers departed and the blue mist left their bodies. With the save from Trico came at a price, his horns lit up along with his eyes and he let out a roar and shook his head trying to resist but it did not work. He became aggressive toward me and chased me.
