Idk what happened to this chapter so if there is no picture I am sorry it's glitched and it didn't publish on my phone so I apologise!

I awoke with Trico looking at me with anticipation in his eyes. I smiled sleepily at him and he stood up making my arms cold. He must have studied the area when I was asleep because he went straight ahead to a door that I had missed when I first came in. I followed close behind him and we came to a very long corridor with a fence to the left with small holes in very close proximity to one another. With a winch on the other side.

I took the lead for now and there was a small place on the floor with wood outlined by metal that I had no problem walking across. But, Trico on the other hand took three steps on it and a gate up above the door came slamming down and Trico stopped dead in his tracks with a whimper. I turned around to look at him and he refused to move any farther. I noticed he kept looking behind him and when he did his ears flattened and he howled. Walking over to the gate I now know why Trico would not move, or, he couldn't move rather because the gate landed on his tail.

I ran ahead with Trico stuck behind me calling out in worry, I kept running for a way to the other side of the fence. Awhile down the corridor on the left was a small staircase and on the right was a large wooden door that would not budge with Trico stuck behind me. I turned to the left and around the corner was a lever on one side of the door looking out at the large door and on the other side was a soldier! Oh, wait, it seemed to be inactive so I cautiously went over to the lever and pulled it down causing the gate to rise.

The soldier became active and chased after to me and on the other side of the gate was six more soldiers and they also came after me. I knew I had to get back to Trico so I dodged their grasps and sprinted to Trico as fast as my legs could take me. I made it back and hid behind Trico while he kept them at bay. I snuck by them and went through the large doorway. At the end of the even longer corridor was another soldier but it was too far away for it to see me. Hopefully.

I climbed a ladder that took me up to the beginning of the fence that had two staircases leading down and back to the winch and the fight. I quickly went to the winch and pulled it back raising the gate and freeing Trico. He went to work smashing, kicking, swiping, and grabbing them, shaking them violently and throwing them into a wall.

I ran back to the ladder and jumped down. Before I hit the ground, a blur of feathers whipped past me and got me on their back. When I came into realization I knew Trico had seen the soldier at the other end of the corridor and was now sprinting toward it. I hopped off quickly before I got in the crossfire.

When the soldier was scattered in front of us was an outcrop of what used to be a bridge but had fallen at some point in time leaving a huge gap we had to jump across. But before I wanted to go across we needed to completely search the area for anything important.

To the right there was nothing just a blue door and to the left was a rusty gate with large holes in a pattern that I could get through. The gate was closed so Trico couldn't get through so I hurried over and climbed through one of the gaps and went a little further ahead and decided to look back at Trico.

He had his head close to the ground and pushed the gate up with his head and crawled through. I stared at him with my mouth gaping as he walked over a structure held up by three mini pillars that were as tall or taller than I was. I had to jump up and grab onto the top and climb over the structure. There was a long corridor leading into an open area that the ground was warmed by the sun. A pillar was in the middle of the place along with two wood boxes and a crate with at least four barrles inside.

Trico went to the crate first and before I got there he reared up on his hind legs and came down with force and smashed the crate. Bits of wood flew everywhere along with two or so barrles. He went right to eating as I explored some more.

I looked back at the gate again and noticed the hinges were one way so they only open inwards. I looked around some more for a lever or a winch but there was nothing. Trico came over to me after he was done eating and sat beside me.

I climbed onto his back for a better vantage point and from there I could see that we needed to get onto the pillar so I could then jump onto a pathway above the ground where we are currently.

"Trico, up there," I said pointing to the pillar. He turned around and looked at the pillar, adjusting himself then jumping onto the pillar. I thanked him then jumped onto the path. I ran straight ahead to a door that had light shining through it.

When I got to the door I was facing back at where the bridge used to be. To the right was the gate and to the left was a lever. Bingo.

I pulled it and called for Trico, within seconds he sprinted through the hall and slid under the raised gate. He looked around confused trying to find me. I called again and he came over to where I was above him. He jumped up and put his front feet in front of him and brought his head up to where I was and I jumped onto his head then he went back down to the ground. After getting back onto the ground I looked across the gap and knew we had to get over there. Trico seemed to know that too because he picked me up by the back of my shirt and carried me in his mouth to the edge of the broken bridge. His wings that I still swore were getting bigger flapped a small bit and he let out prepping squawks then lept to the other side with ease.

When we got over there he didn't put me down, instead he put his front feet on a giant wooden door and placed me on a bridge with pillars holding it up to the left of the door. In front of me was a metal bar surrounding planks of wood coming out of the wall that and was broken and in bad shape. I didn't want to go that way since it didn't work out so well the last time I ran into one of those. So I went to the right where a ladder was and the path led to the right again. The path went to the end of the concrete floor to a narrow piece of wood that went to another part of concrete. When I stepped onto the wood it shifted and seemed uneasy. Trico was stuck behind me since there was no place for him to go.

After carefully crossing the small wooden bridge there were little holes blocked by rocks. Three of the four holes were blocked, the fourth one which was also the one at the far end on the path was unblocked. The hole was very small so I had to get on my stomach to crawl through it. On the other side made me lose my breath and lock up.

Below me were many different beams of wood connected together and going in different directions. Below that was a long stretch of concrete that was very wide. Behind the door that Trico was on the other side of were three soldiers in their resting positions spinning around in a full circle very slowly. Their eyes gave out light with a certain proximity. If I stepped foot in that light they would rise and go after me. To the far right of the gate facing this side of the door was a winch that would open the door. Oh boy.
