The next area we went into was an outdoor area that had green grass swaying in the breeze gently as the sun warmed my skin and the ground under my feet. Trico jumped up from a ledge under me and as he got up into the sunlight he jumped up and ran around the place with excitement.

I walked across the grass and occasional stone a strange aroma filled the air and I noticed that Trico smelled it too. His eyes illuminated and he started over to a small building that had a small chimney at the top which a visible blue gas escaped and disappeared into the air.

I watched as Trico stuck his head into one of the three openings at the base of the building trying desperately to get in and follow the aroma. I climbed onto Trico's back and jumped onto some vines and climbed up onto the top. I hurried over to the chimney, dropped down into the building, and I saw a giant pot that had the blue gas coming out of it. So I went over to it and pushed the lid closed and Trico's eyes went back to normal and he took his head out of the opening.

We went into the next area under an arch where a pool of water that went up to my knees sat stirring very little. Trico rushed ahead and tucked and rolled in the water. He rolled over onto his back and rolled back and forth cleaning himself off. After he was done he looked down at the water and saw himself so he playfully jumped around splashing and spinning in a circle.

"Trico I thought you hated water!" I said as I sat on the edge of the pool watching my best friend get all clean then shaking off spraying me with water as he shook himself off.

"Hey! Keep the water to yourself!"

Trico looked at me then people might not notice but I could tell that he smiled a mischievous smile as he walked over to me.

Trico lowered his head and looked like he wanted me to pet his head so I did.

Trico grabbed the collar of my shirt and walked me over to the pool.

"Trico! Trico what are you doing?! Ha ha very funny now take me back!" Trico didn't listen to me he just sat over the pool then he dropped me.

*Splash*

I sat upright in the pool and glared at Trico who was staring at me. I said nothing to him I just glared at him.

I got up, turned around, and walked away towards the openings in the building. I heard Trico following me.

I went through the middle opening and I went on to the top of the pot and sat on the ledge a few steps from the pot.

Trico stuck his head in the opening and started to whine. The inside of me was still a little mad at him but the rest of me was telling me to go over to him, I mean after all he is my best friend.

I let out a sigh, got up, and I went over to Trico. He licked my face and whimpered for an apology.

"I'm sorry too." I told him rubbing his soft velvety nose.

After about two minutes of apologizing Trico squeezed his head back out of the opening and I followed as we went into the next area.

I climbed onto Trico's back and he jumped up onto a pillar. I looked left and there was nothing and to my right there was a doorway.

I jumped off Trico and landed on a ledge and I called Trico to follow and he jumped onto the ledge one level above me. As I climbed up the ledge Trico jumped onto I felt a bit wind on my head when I looked up sure enough the adorable face of Trico stared at me.

I grabbed his horns and he pulled me up and set me on a ledge. I went to the left and went through a very narrow and tight passage way.

I dropped down into another open area that had some trees and some Trico statues partway buried in the ground. There was a movement behind me and it was Trico jumping over the arch from where I just came.

Trico came down beside me and we looked across the way and another big wooden bridge which led to a huge white temple. I could just make out an eye design hanging by the end of the bridge.

In the distance we also heard what sounded like another Trico. It had a different call and it sounded more dangerous or evil. Trico heard it too because his feathers on his back started to stand up and he started to growl.

I decided to get away from this area so I jumped onto Trico's back and  told him to go over to the bridge. We jumped to one pillar then to another and the third one started to crumble so Trico quickly jumped to the bridge and the pillar broke down and fell.

The wood that we were standing on started to creak and the metal support bars started to bend.

"Trico time to go run!" I shouted as Trico got the idea he started to go as a trot then as his rear left foot slipped as the wood broke away he shifted gears into a sprint. We ran until we got to a turning point on the bridge and it led to the end of the bridge.

I hopped off Trico and ran over to the end of the bridge with Trico right behind me. When we got close to the eye Trico slowed down and he eventually stopped then I realized there were one eye on each side of the bridge.

I jumped across a gap between us and the eyes and the bridge. I grabbed on handle on my left side and pushed it off then I froze as my tattoos started to glow blue and the two door on the temple opened and tons of soldiers poured out. Some were holding shields that were made out of the same glass and had the same design as the big ones that Trico were afraid of.

One soldier had no weapons or shields passed the rest and headed straight for me. Trico was afraid of the shields and the other big eye on the right.

The soldier came over to me, as I was still frozen in fear and because of my markings, and it grabbed me and started back to the temple.

I shouted for Trico and once he saw me being carried away he snapped out of it, jumped over to my side, crushed a bunch of soldiers, and smacked the one with me. I quickly jumped onto Trico's back and our weight started to break the bridge so Trico turned around and ran back to the sturdy enough turning point.

But Trico wasn't fast enough.

The wood under our feet collapsed and we fell onto one side of a drawbridge above two other bridges under us. Trico and I stood up and brushed ourselves off.

There was one sound that made us freeze.

As we looked up there it was.

Evil Trico. Full armor. All death.
