Evil Trico gazed down at us with glowing eyes full of rage. It had full horns and a full set of armor.
It jumped down to a sturdy pillar and met eyes with Trico. The two beasts threatened each other and stood their ground, roaring. The dark or evil Trico jumped down onto the drawbridge in front of Trico making a loud booming sound.I fell back on the bridge shaking with its weight. It heard me and as it did it turned around and aggressively roared and crept closer to me.
"Trico!" I called desperately as the beast got closer.
Trico came to my aid by using his right foreleg to grab evil Trico by the tail and dragged it back away from me. Evil Trico whipped his head around and aggressively roared at Trico and swiped his face with its talons.
Trico stumbled backwards and evil Trico took it to its advantage by pouncing onto Trico and grabbing its neck and locking it's jaw. Every now and again it would strangle Trico by shaking it's body and digging its teeth farther into his flesh.
"Don't worry Trico I got you!" I yelled as I ran over to the boarded up gateway and went down the steps towards a lever. I pulled it and the side of the bridge closest to me fell and took evil Trico with it but it hung off the side still up and jumped over to the side that dropped and drug Trico down to the second to last bridge to the ground.
"No!" I screamed as evil Trico landed on top of Trico again and locked onto his neck. I gathered my courage and ran down the dropped side of the bridge and jumped.
I landed on the last thing I wanted here right now. Evil Trico. It didn't even notice me it was just focused on Trico. I got off it quickly and looked around for another solution and I saw a little opening with a gate hung open and a large log underneath at an angle.
I rushed over to it and pulled a lever that was inside next to a pile of broken rocks that were growing weeds and moss. The gate slammed down ontop of the log and split it straight in two with a loud crack.
I gazed back over to the beasts and saw that evil Trico's tail was right next to the gate. An idea popped into my head and as it did I ran over, grabbed the tail, and placed it under the gate.
Quickly, I ran back over to the lever and pulled it. The gate slammed down, just as it had done before and evil Trico let out a pain-filled roar and turned to me.
The gate lifted back up, freeing its tail in the process. I backed up as far as I could trying to keep distance between us as it crept in closer. Rage filled it's eyes.
From the corner of my eye I saw two glowing horns rise up and come closer to evil Trico. I smirked as I saw feathers fly off the edge of the bridge and evil Trico roared in pain once more as Trico slashed it's right flank.
Evil Trico snapped around quickly and tackled Trico and sending them down onto the last bridge before they meet the ground.
I groaned as I jumped off the bridge and thankfully landing on my Trico. There was an old small train car above us on old, rusty, bent up rail tracks. There was a chain dangling just above Trico so I jumped onto that and started to climb.
As I reached the top I climbed ontop of the car and saw it was filled to the brim with concrete. I ran around the back and pushed it with all my might.
As it neared the edge I stopped pushing and let it continue on it's own as I caught my breath. It dropped and it hit evil Trico right on the head, knocking off its helmet in the process and breaking it left horn.
Stunned, it shook its head and jumped up onto the other bridges and escaping over the side of the cylinder-like column we were in and disappeared from sight.
I hurried down steps that led up to the place I was at but I was just short sighted and missed them. There were faint echos of evil Trico's calls as it went farther away.
As I reached the bridge Trico was lying on the bond we formed was so strong I could hear his heartbeat. It was faint. Slow. Weak.
I held back tears as I got closer to him. I rubbed his face softly, a whine escaped his chest as something impacted him.
I snapped my head up and saw a spear sticking out of his side and to the left was a soldier aiming another spear.
"NO! GOD! FREAKING STOP!!!" I screamed out of shear rage as I pulled out the spear and hurled it at the soldier making it go straight through it and sticking it to the wall.
Something started to move, sounded like sliding. I gazed down toward Trico and he was slipping.
"Trico hold on!" I called as I jumped onto his shoulder blade and held on for dear life.
We fell and hit the ground with a thud. Trico's breathing started to increase and mine did too. An impact will make you lose your breath, it will I don't care who you are.
I struggled to stand up with my head pounding. I walked around to the front of Trico and saw that his eyes were still shut and his mouth open to take in more air.
I turned to walk around to find something useful when I heard a gurgling noise from behind me. I raised an eyebrow and turned around curiously.
Trico looked like he was gonna throw up or something. Finally after one long exhale a circular, shiny figure slid out of his mouth along with some stray planks of wood.
My jaw dropped at what lay on the ground. It was the mirror. I went over to it and grabbed it. I looked up and scanned the walls up above us. There was a giant wall made out of wooden planks.
I lifted the mirror and shone it's light to the wood and right on time Trico's tail rose up and the purple lightning shot out exploding the wall. I smiled and kissed Trico on the nose."I'll be back bud. I always do."
With that I jumped up onto a chain next to another broken-down rail car and started to climb. I gotta save Trico.
