"What do you mean?" Sam asked, as he paced in front of Evan.
"I'm not sure what you are confused about." Evan replied, as he sat down in a chair and propped his legs up. He knew Sam shouldn't be here. That his repeated visits were going to cause suspicions.
Sam stopped in front of him. "Really? You can't just enter my dream, tell me my secret is searching, and then leave."
Evan shrugged. "Seemed pretty clear to me."
"In what way is that clear?"
"Riley is your secret, right?" Evan asked. When Sam didn't move, he took that as a right and he continued. "And Riley is searching; therefore that makes her the searching secret."
"And what exactly is she searching for?" Sam asked, as he continued to pace.
"You and me," Evan replied with another shrug. "Mostly me though."
"And why on earth would she be looking for you?" Sam asked through clenched teeth.
"Calm down Sammy boy. She just wants answers. But hopefully the dream I gave her of Jay, has redirected her focus."
"Her dream of Jay?" Sam asked, just a tense.
Evan studied Sam for a moment, then stood up from his seat. "As you told me not so long ago, If you want to keep her safe, you need to let her go."
A/N I know this was a little short, but its been awhile since we've heard from these two... What is going on with them? What do you think? I would love to know!
