A chill settled in my bones as I traveled the cold hallways. His Royal Assness demanded that I wear something appropriate to welcome the warriors home. That consisted of almost no clothing at all. I swear, if I bent over everyone would get a nice view of ass. I couldn't deny the beauty in the clothes though. Someone had taken a lot of time to design the top, making it look like metal with a swirled design over the breast. In the middle, right on my cleavage, rested a gem. A piece of golden tan material sat on one shoulder, matching the material of the short skirt. As usual, my feet were bare, only succeeding in helping me freeze to death.
"Ma'am!"
I turned, finding Allison a few steps behind me.
"How many times do I have to tell you-"
"Ma'am is not your name.." Allison finished my sentence before pouting.
"Now you're getting it."
I looped my arm through hers before we began trecking to the throne room.
The walls were stone, with few things hanging. Here and there you'd find a painting, or a lantern. Although, it was mostly dark.
The golden colored double doors that separated the throne room from the rest of the castle were open when we arrived. Goliath sat, straight as a rod, muscles tense. A blank look covered his face as he turned to look in my direction.
Beside him, on the throne I had occupied lately, sat a lovely woman with long blond hair. She laughed at something said, and her voice carried through the room like magic. Even I was entranced by her.
When Allison and I stepped into the room, the woman finally looked our way and I frowned. She had beautiful blue eyes, the color of the ocean during the red moon.
"Welcome, Seer Syndra." Goliath spoke. His formal tone grated on my nerves and I couldn't help but wonder why this woman was sitting in the seat my ass had warmed for the past month.
Goliath gestured for me to come to him, but in a moment of spite I took my place at his feet, as the Seer of the Castle. I knelt on my knees, my head touching the floor with my arms in front, my hands flat making a triangle. I felt power flow through me at the formal stance, bowing to my King. My owner. A powerful gust of wind traveled through the double doors where Allison stood in shock.
"Rise." The woman ordered. I lifted my head before leaning back. Into a half kneeling position. I felt Goliath place a hand on the spot between my shoulder and neck, and it wasn't long before he tightened his grip. I struggled against the urge to shake him off.
In front of us, stood a crowd of people. Over half of them were men, warriors. The rest were slaves, tied up by rope and a few gagged. The warrior in front held his sword in his hands as he knelt.
"Regan, I take great pleasure in introducing you to Syn. A very gifted Seer to be treasured amongst us."
I laughed. Earned a glare from the woman beside him.
"Pleasure to meet you, Syn."
The man stood, a little shorter than Goliath. Yet they were identical in every other way. This man, was beautiful.
"The pleasure is all mine.." I purred.
I felt Goliath's hand tighten.
"I look forward to spending time with such a handsome man. A warrior at that, I feel safer knowing you're in the castle." I just couldn't keep my mouth shut.
Goliath's hand tightened even more.
"Brother, I think I've fallen in love." Regan joked as he placed his hand over his heart.
"Edit, please step forward." Goliath ignored Regan.
"Oh, there's another one of you." I felt a smile tug the corners of my mouth. Edit had long blond hair, and a thick blonde beard on his face, almost hiding the scar that ran down his cheek. However, that didn't take away from his rugged handsomeness. "Mm.."
"Edit, you've served me well over the years. The greatest feeling is being able to fight by your side on the battle field. You've done everything asked of you, without question, and without fail. It is with great honor I now pronounce you, Master of Arms."
Edit's violet eyes lit up like a boy with a new toy as he came to stand right next to Goliath.
"My brother. I've never felt so complete in my life." Edit bowed, his hand over his heart.
"Now, bring forth the slaves."
A row was created of men and women and children dressed in rags, shivering. In a moment of sympathy, I pressed my palms to the floor and pushed heat through the room. A few moments later the nearly naked individuals stopped shivering.
I knelt at Elric's feet, his hands at my throat once more, as I watched him instruct the slaves on their new duties. The woman next to him hadn't taken her eyes off me. I could feel them even now, boring into my soul.
I chanced a look in her direction, finding her expression one of open curiosity.
"My liege," I sarcastically growled, "allow me to go back to my room."
"I expect you in my chambers in five minutes. And this, better be off." Elric tugged at the corner of my bottoms as he whispered in my ear.
On my way past the slaves I noticed a small child drop her dirty stuffed animal. With a smile, I bent in half to pick up the toy and hand it to her. A growl filled the room, followed by an aura of strong arousal and when I glanced back I saw Elric standing before his throne with a look of rage.
And for the hundredth time since my arrival, I felt scared, and wet at the same time.***
Do I update? Is it good, is it worth finishing? I have grand ideas for this book <3
