"Where the hell have you been?!"
The loud deep voice made my ears ring and my head pound. After a few days of silent peace, the sound seemed odd.
"Shh."
"Do not order me around, woman. My brother is going out of his mind looking for you!"
I glared up at the brute, mad at him for a number of reasons, but mostly for mentioning his brother.
"Do not mention that vile man to me." I hissed.
Regan grabbed my arm in a bruising grip before pulling me closer. Despite my struggle I was no match for him. As usual my small size was being taken advantage of.
"If anyone hears you say that, especially now, you will be punished. Get some clothes on before He catches you wandering these halls with your unmentionables on display."
"Pray tell, who's unmentionables are on display?"
My arms quickly crossed over my large breasts, barely covering my nipples and my legs squeezed together. I was, although unsuccessfully, trying to hide myself from the man coming around the corner. However, the glare I received once he came into view made me want to flaunt every asset I had, no matter how unladylike.
Elric stood there, looking me over, as a scowl settled on his face.
"Have you been naked the entire time you've been gone?!"
He pulled his long sleeved shirt off before tugging it over my shoulders and wrapping me into his arms. This was new. Elric had never just... held me.
"I didn't exactly leave fully clothed, now did I?"
"You must be freezing, my love."
"I'm rather hot, actually."
"Your skin is almost blue. And your lips, they're purple. Regan get the doctor. How could you have just stood there while she looks like this?"
Even Regan seemed surprised by Elrics behavior. Goliath had never acted so... nice.
"Go! Now Regan. And tell the man to come right away."
Goliath led me down the hall, apprehension filling my veins.
"Your friend, Allison. She's noticed your absence and refuses to give me a moment of peace. I cannot believe you would so foolishly just... vanish. Especially after what we shared."
"What we shared? You mean my humility at being rejected?"
Elric came to an abrupt stop and turned to face me.
"I never meant to-"
"Ma'am!" Allison came around the corner, her arm around Edit's and a bright, relaxed smile on her face.
Elric's brother sent the dirtiest look my way, letting me know plain and simple how he felt about me.
"I've been worried sick. Although, King Elric has kept me quite busy, I always wondered where you'd wandered off too." Allison chatted on, oblivious to the fact that I stood there in barely nothing. Or perhaps, she was used to it.
I had just managed to get myself free of Goliath's ginormous hands when she came around the corner.
"Elric, my love, I've been looking everywhere for you. I've received my ring, and we need to discuss the ceremony."
Despite every attempt I made, a gasp of pain escaped my lips as I felt my heart tearing. And my feet were moving before my brain could stop them.

Hello, my few, yet very treasured readers. Is there any advice you can offer? Any changes you feel should be made? Any chapters I should revisit and edit some more.
In case you were wondering, Elric is pronounced much like it's spelled (El-rick). Regan is Ree-Gan. Edit is Eh-Deet.
On another side note, I've decided to change Sindel's name to, Syndra (it's already been changed throughout the previous chapters). I feel it's more suiting to an Elvin sorceress and if you think otherwise, drop a comment and let me know.
As far as this mystery woman... we shall see where she takes the story.
Is it worth updating? So far I only have one comment from Candy_Jay, and if anything I'll keep updating just for you, as long as it's worth it!
~Love
