Capture the memories (A Cody Simpson fanfiction)

Chapter 1

Kaylas POV

"C'mon mom! Drive faster! i wanna get there!" i said Okay.. lets backup here. My names Kayla Thompson, I am 15 years old and an ammiture photographer. I LOVE instagram and the color blue. The reason im very excited right now is because I am on my way to visit my dad (cause my parents are divorced but they are still cool with eachother) in California and im so very pumped because 1. im in freaking CALI and 2. California has awsome scenery to take pictures of. Okay, back to me freaking out..

"Good lord honey calm down" my mother said

"Sorry mom, im just so excited-" i said

"Yeah i know because you want to see your dad and take tonnes of photographs in California" my mother said

i laughed and said "Can you blame me"

My mom sighed and said "No California is beautiful, i give credit to your father for moving here"

Just then we pulled up to dads beachhouse, he was already waiting outside

"DAD" i exclaimed

"CUPCAKE" (thats my dads nickname for me) he said as he gave me a hug

"Im so excited, this is going to be the best summer ever!!!" I exclaimed

he laughed and said "well im excited to have you here" 

"Hello Martin" my mom smiled and said

"Good to see you Nicole" my dad returned the smile giving her a hug

I alraedy wanted to explore the beach, it was just so breathtaking i just needed to take pictures of it so i asked them to go exploring and they said yes, my parents trust me enough to let me do what i want. I put my bags in my room which was facing the beach, so i had a great view. I put on my floral bikini, grabbed my sunglasses, iphone, camera, and towel and put it all in a beach bag and set out.

The beach wasnt that crowded except for a group of kids some about my age hanging out not too far from where i set my stuff down. I didnt really bother with them, i just came to take pictures. Not that im anti social or anything.  I grabbed my camera and started to capture a few shots when someone tapped me on the shoulder, i turned around and saw a little boy,  with dirty blonde hair about 8 or 9.

"Excuse me, I really like your camera" he told me, he seemed to have an accent when he spoke

"Thanks, im really into photography" I said

"Thats cool, i can tell your not from here" he said

"Haha is it that obvious? im visiting from Toronto for the summer" I said

He smiled and said "I'm Tom, i moved here with my brother and sister from Austrailia"

"Austrailia? Nice. I'm Kayla" I said

Just then another girl, who i think was about my age came running towards us

"Tom! there you are i've been looking for you forever" she said, also with the same accent

"Sorry.. Alli this is Kayla, Kayla this is my big sister Alli" Tom said introducing us

We both shook hands and smiled

"Love your swimsuit by the way" Alli said

"Thanks i got it from-  i started to say

"Forever 21" Alli finished for me

"Woah your like fashion phsycic or something"  i said

"Haha nah, i just really love fashion" Alli said

"Nice, i really like to go shopping" i  said

"Really? same here we should totally go shopping one day" Alli said

"Yeah totally" I said

It didnt take long, Alli and I were just walking on the beach and talking like we knew eachother for a while. I found out she is  also 15, has two siblings Tom who is 9,  and Cody who is 16, they are from Australia but moved here so Cody could pursue his career in singing, and that she loves raspberries.

Codys POV

I Just came back from a sick surf. I noticed it was getting late so i looked around for Alli, I finally found her and noticed she was talking to a really pretty girl. She had such a nice smile. I thought i'd go over there and introduce myself and tell alli we have to leave

"Hey Alli its time to leave" I said

"Oh hey codes, sorry i lost track of time" alli said

"Haha its cool, and whos this pretty girl?" i asked winking at her

She blushed and smiled "I'm Kayla.. and your Cody right?"

I smiled and said "Yeah, i guess Alli gave you the 411 didnt she?"

She laughed and said "Yes she did"

I couldnt help but notice her camera, wow beautiful and a photographer

"Sick camera" I said

"Thanks, im a photographer" she said

"Omg can i see?" Alli asked

"Sure" She said giving Alli she camera who then passed it to me

"These shots are amazing, maybe you could teach me sometime" I smiled, i was so interested in getting to know her better

"Haha sure will do, and maybe you could teach me how to surf" she winked and smiled at me

"Hey how did you know i surf?"  i asked, surprised

"Like you said.. Alli gave me the 411" she said. We all laughed

"Anyways" Alli said We've got to run, but maybe you can come by our house tomorrow andd hang out" 

"i would love too" She said smiling

Alli, Tom and i started leaving but i quickly ran back to her and said "Im really looking foward to tomorrrow" 

"Me too, it was nice meeting you" she said, sticking out her hand for me to shake it

Instead i pulled her into a hug and said "You too, i'll hold you too that surfing lesson"

It seemed like the hug lasted for hours when Alli said "CODY stop flirting and come on" causing us to pull away.  She was blushing like crazy now

"I better go" I said as i waved goodbye and ran to catch up with Alli and Tom
