Chapter 20

Kaylas POV

I woke up the next morning and checked my emails from my teacher today i have to:

Do a trigonometry sheet

Lab report 

and a story analysis

I sighed, got up and hopped in the shower, and washed my hair as well. While my hair was drying i put on a loose crop top that said "Can U not" and dark denim hollister shorts. I grabbed my phone, a muffin, a note book, and lapto and went straight to Allis house. I knew she wouldnt be here because she was out but i wanted to get started on my work. 

"Hey" Cody smiled as he answered the door

"Hey" i said 

"What are you doing here?" Cody asked

"Need a study buddy?' I asked

He smiled

In no time at all we were both sat down doing our school work, it was pretty quiet but i would catch him stealing glances at me. i knew i couldnt help him since he was in his senior year but i guess having company is nice. 

"So what you working on?" Cody asked

"I am now working on my lab report for science" I said

"when do you have to send it in by?" Cody asked

"Like next week" I said laughing

"what? why are you doing it now then?" Cody asked

"Its always good to be ahead of the game" i said

"You Kayla Thompson are full of surprises" Cody said smiling at me

I smiled and looked down to hide the fact i was blushing

A few minutes later Angie set two glasses of water and two sandwiches down 

We both looked up at her as she said "I love how you guys are working hard but, you guys gotta eat"

I laughed and said "Thanks Angie"

I got out my phone and took a picture of the sandwich and drink, edited it, and posted on instagram with the caption: Study break lunch thanks @AngieSimpson5 

Cody was also looking at his instagram when he looked up at me and said "How do you edit your pictures there so sick" 

"My secrets are never revealed" I said mysteriously

Cody gave me a fake glare. We we were done eating we got back to work. Eventually, Cody finished but i was still doing my trig homework.

I didnt even realize Alli came in when i heard them behind me talking

"Shes still doing work?" Alli said

"Been here all day" Cody said

"You know i can hear you guys" I said

"At least take a break and do the ustream with us" Cody said

"I'll watch you guys, and do my work okay?" I said

Alli sighed and said "c'mon bro we promised the fans we would be on time today" 

Cody nodded as he opened up his laptop. As Alli was trying to get online Cody was on his phone. I knew he was texting Gigi to tune in.

I decided to watch them for a litte bit when i got a text from Alli
