Chapter 19

Kaylas POV

I woke up at 4:30 am, i just couldn't sleep. Wanna know why? Cody told me he loves me. i know its not in 'that way' but i still was affected by it. Its not just that, its the whole thing with my biological dad. Letting out a big sigh i got up and went to the t.v room where i saw Cody.

He looked up and saw me "Couldn't sleep either?"

"You guessed it" I said

"So whats on your mind?" he said

"I dont know, what if my dad doesnt want to give up his parental rights, i just.. dont think i can go back to him after everything" I said

Cody put his arm around my shoulder "Hey, dont worry your foster parents will find some way to keep you okay?'

I smiled "thanks" i leant my head on his shoulder

"What about your sister in Paris? does she know?" Cody asked

"Im not sure i havent heard from her since she left, i think the reason why she left is partially because mom died, they were really close" i said

I looked up at him and said "Your really lucky to have a family that supports you and loves you, just remember that"

He smiled "I will dont worry, and if you need a family theres always mine thats here for you"

I smiled and said "So whats on your mind?"

"Thinking about songs for the next album, i might go acoustic" he said

"thats sick, just a boy and his guitar, you should do it" I said

"really?" he asked

"Definatley" I said

"So are you going back to Canada or coming to L.A?" he asked

"Probably LA, i dont wanna be in Canada right now where my dad could possibly be around and the whole parental rights things, all probably spend my junior year here, my teacher can send me my homework online" i said as i let out a yawm

"Tired?" he asked 

"Yeah, as much as i missed our deep talks i really want my sleep" i said as i got up

"Oh no you dont" he said as he picked me up bridal style

I laughed "really?" 

"Yup" he smiled 

He put me in my bunk and said "Goodnight Kayla"

"Goodnight Cody" i said

We stared into eachothers eyes, when snapped out of it and said 'I probably should.."

"Yeah same..." I said

He smiled then climbed to the top where his bunk was, i smiled to myself then drifted off to sleep

"HEY LA, WE ARE BACK" Alli stated as we walked throught the front door of their house

Cody and I laughed

"As extra as you are, i kinda missed it here" i said

"Me too" Cody agreed

"Well im probably going to go unpack at my dads" I said

"I can drop you if you want" Cody offered

"Sure" I said

Cody pulled up to the driveway of my house

"Im glad you came on tour" he said

"Me too it was loads of fun" i said

"Oh i almost forgot, my friend Greyson Chance is having a little birthday party since he wont be able to celebrate his actual one since he's leaving for tour, wanna come?" he asked

"Sure, when is it?" i asked

"two days from now, Gigis coming down from NYC to be there as well" he said

"Cool ill be there, ill text Alli about the deets" I said

"Alright well seeya later on today?" he said

"Maybe ill have to see bye" I said as i waved to him while he drove off

As soon as i got home i was greeted by my dad 

"CUPCAKE" he said 

"dadddy" i said running to him giving him a big hug

'Im so glad i get your for a whole year" he said

"Yeah, with all the drama going on at home i just need a break" i said

"Well thats understandable" he said as we let go of our hug

"Come lets sit and talk, i wanna hear all about the tour" he said

"theres not much, i mean different city and i had fun hanging with Alli" i said

"what about your boyfriend?" he asked

i sighed, man this guy was outta the loop "We arent together exactly"

"What? thats a shame i liked him" he said

"yeah well things happen" i said

We talked a for a few minutes more until he got a call saying that he had to go into work, it was kind of conveiniant because Alli texted me saying she wanted me over ASAP.

"So whats the big emergency?" i said as i entered her room

"So i recorded a new single!!!" Alli said

"Oh my gosh Alli this is huge! whats it called?" I said

"I know right, its called Notice Me" Alli said

"Ooh cool when can i hear it?" I asked

"How about now?" she said as she played the track on her MAC

When we were done listening i said "Dang girl you got some killer pipes, so when is it released?" 

"the same time Codys acoustic sessions ep comes out" Alli said

"Yay im so excited and im so happy Codes is going acoustic" i said

"It was because of you, ya know" Alli said

"Uh huh sure bro" i said not beleiving it

She put her hands up in defence "Hey so Cody and I are planning to do a Ustream tomorrow to announced notice me and the acoustic sessions, wanna join?" Alli asked

"I cant my teacher just sent me some trig homework so i gotta finish it but ill work on it while im watching you guys do your ustream" i said

"Oh alright, what are you doing for winter break?" Alli said

"Oh i dont know my dad has to go to Canada with my mom that time for the court session with my biological father and they wont be back in time for christmas" i said a little sad

"Hey why dont you come to Austrailia with me and my family?" Alli said

"Are you sure they wont mind, i mean its a long trip" i said

"Girl they love you and if my brother can bring Gigi then i can bring you, its only fair" Alli said

"But Gigi is your brothers girlfriend, she has to meet the family its like a milestone in their relationship thing" i said

"It wouldnt be if you just tell him how you feel about him" Alli said

"Uhm never going to happen" I said

"So you coming to Greysons Party?" Alli asked

"Yeah but i dont know what the dresscode is, is it like fancy? Casual?' i asked

"Its like semi formal" Alli said

"In that case i needa go shoping, im not one to have dressses" i said

"Alright girl, you me shopping day tomorrow" Alli said

"Sounds good" I said

we talked for the rest of the night, until i had to go home
