Capture the memories (A Cody Simpson fanfiction)

Chapter 15

Kaylas POV

I woke up today smiling. Wanna know why? It was July 13th. Yeah i know it was the Pittsburgh show but its also my birthday! I got up, brushed my teeth, washed my face and put my hair up into a bun. I then went to the kitchen.

As soon as i walked in i saw everyone standing there and they yelled "SUPRISE!" there was a cake and everything

Alli of course attacked me with a hug today and said "Happy 16th girl!"

I then went around and hugged everyone as they gave me birthday greetings. The last one was Cody who said "Happy Birthday!" engulfing me in a hug

I hugged back and said "Thanks"

Alli then came up to me and said "I have so many things planned for you" 

"Uh oh" I said and everyone laughed

"Unfortunatley i can't be there for the day but, after the show we'll all open presents toghether" Cody said 

"Oh sure no problem" i said

Cody, gigi, Matt, Brad, and Tom left for interviews with Cody so it was just me and Alli. Angie said we should go out and "be our teenage selves" 

"Okay so first we are going to do some shopping" Alli said

"For what?" I asked

"For your outfit for tonight and don't even say anything i'm buying and im not taking no for an answer" Alli said

She then pulled me into a bunch of stores and tried on a bunch of clothes until we found the best outfit. It was a burgundy skater skirt, a black graphic tee, and oxfords. She then took me out for a sushi lunch.

"I've never had sushi like this before" I said

"Then you officially haven't lived girl" Alli said

Our order then came in, it was honestly a little bit of everything. Alli wanted me to have "the full experience" Of course, being me i had to instagram the food. I captured a picture of the food then posted on instagram with the caption "Birthday sushi with the fav @AlliSimpson" 

"So" Alli said

"Yeah...?" I asked

"Are you going to tell him?" Alli asked

"Tell who what?" I asked

"Ugh Cody that you effing miss him!" Alli said 

"Uh heck no, its best for everyone and YOU better not say anything" i said

"Fine" Alli said putting her hands up

We talked a little more after that and then Alli and i walked to our last "surprise destination" 

"Now that i took you shopping, fed you, and now we are going to do something crazy" Alli said

"What?" i said excitedly

"Well, i know you love photography so we are going to meet glen nultley" Alli said

"OMG HIS PICTURES ARE EFFING SICK MAN" i said

"Haha i know thats why i called him up" Alli said

"oh my gosh" I said

We then arrived at his studio. He was really nice and genuine he taught me the proper lighting and technique when taking a photo with someone. He also let me in on how he gets inspiration, and cool focusing techniques. I took some myself, he said i was a natural! This is definatley something i want to do when i grow up. When we were finished Alli and i went back to the tour bus to get ready for the show.

I changed into my outfit and we headed to the venue. Alli was smiling so weirdly

"Are you okay als?" I asked

"Yeah im cool, fine, perfect just good o'l me mate" Alli said

"uh.. okay" i said not wanting to ask what was going on in that little brain of hers

I noticed we wernt going to the viewers balconyl like we usually would we were going backstage which was sort of weird 

"Okay so stay right here" Alli said and then she left

I was right near the stage so i could see Cody doing his thing. He then looked to someone then smiled and then he said "Okay so I want to bring someone special out today"

Two of his dancers came and escorted me onstage, Oh my gosh i was literally onstage in front of so many people. They escorted me to sit on a stool then left. 

Cody smiled at me then turned to the audience and said "This is Kayla she is one of my bestest friends, and its her 16th birthday today so I'm going to sing a little song for her"

I smiled, he then got his guitar and started playing the song "U" by Austin Mahone. It was an amazing experience, he looked right into my eyes i felt butterflies. They were in their cage for a while to be honest. When he was done i was in happy tears.

"Oh my gosh"  was all i could say

"Happy Birthday Kayla" Cody said hugging me

"AWWWWWWWW"  the crowd all said

"Thank you so much" I said hugging him back

We pulled apart and then i waved to the fans then went offtstage to the viewers balcony. Where i was greeted by Allli

"So how was it?" Alli asked

"Oh my gosh you trickster i cant beleive you kept this from me, it was awsome thanks for asking" i said

"I can't wait until you open presents" Alli said

"Alli this outfit you bought me? is my present" I said

"Yeah but i got you a little something on the side" Alli said

"Your such a goofball but i love you" I said giving her a big hug

"You too" Alli said hugging me back

The concert finished at we were all back at the tourbus opening gifts. 

"So Kayla our tradition is that we dont put who its from on our gifts, you have to guess and then the person who gave it comes forward" Angie said

"Cool , okay im going to choose this one" i said picking up a square box with blue wrapping

I opened it to reveal a poleroid camera

"Oh my gosh, ive always wanted one of these!" i said i looked around the room and noticed Gigi smiling a bit 

"Gigi?" i guessed

"Dang it!" she said

"Thank you so much" i said giving her a hug 

"No problem, a little birdie told me you wanted one so" Gigi said

I went on to opening all the other gifts, i got a Picture collage and a bag from Alli, an infinity bracelet from Cody, and from Tom, Brad and Angie, a neckless. 

"Thank you guys so much for the presents" i said

"Your welcome, its getting late thought i think we should all head to bed" Angie said

We all went to our bunks, when i got to my bunk i saw something on it. It was a box with a red ribbon on it. I picked it up and saw there was a note attached to it that said "Heard you needed a new phone :') - A friend"

I opened the box to reveal a white iphone 5s, i turned it on and found out it was already set up and updated to ios 7. On the lock screen there was a quote background that said "loved you then, love you still, always have always will" I smiled. Who got me this? I had one person in mind but its impossible.

Sooooo who do you think gave the phone to Kayla ;) i have a few ideas tehehehe Anyway, hoped you guys liked this super long chapter. So sorry to leave it on a cliffhanger but you know, its more suspensful like that. So anyways QOTD: Whos excited for the new music Cody has been working on? I know i am. Comment below.
