Capture the memories (A Cody Simpson fanfiction)

Chapter 3

Kaylas POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I grabbed my iphone and checked my instagram, 40+ likes. Not bad. I put on my owl slippers and went downstairs and saw a note on the fridge that read:

Morning Cupcake

Sorry I couldnt have breakfast with you this morning, i got called into work. Will be working all day. SO don't wait up, call me if something happens. love you x

Dad

I left the note on the fridge and got myself some orange juice and made myself some toast. I surfed instagram and facebook before i realized the time. 

"Shit" i said

I sprinted upstairs to my room, and went in to my bathroom to take a shower.  I washed my hair using herbal essences strawberry blitz. I soon finished and came out and dryed my hair. Since my hair was brown and had ombre and the bottom, i decided to leave it since it was naturally straight. Im not a big makeup person, all i put was concealer for my acne and a bit of lipgloss. It was going to be hot today, so for my outfit, i put on ripped jean shorts, and a loose tank top that said "Brave The Wave", and for my shoes i chose my white converse. I ran downstairs and texted Alli.

Me: On my way!

Alli: Seeya then :)

i grabbed my pennyboard and was off. Hey! i'm only fifteen i cant drive yet! It took about 20 minutes but i was finally at Allis. Her house was huge! She lived right by the beach. I walked up to the door, skateboard in hand, and knocked on the door. The door opened but it wasn't Alli, it was Cody.

"Hey" Cody said giving me a hug

"Hey, how are you" I said

"Pretty good, and you?" he asked

"A bit tired from the ride over here, but other than that.. good' i said

He laughed and said "I can see that, sick board by the way"

"Thanks" I smiled and said

"Well come on in" he said gesturing inside the house

"thanks, so is Alli ready yet?" I asked

"Not sure, I'll go up and check" he said, then his eyes wandered to my shirt

When he saw that i noticed he said "I.. um have the exact same shirt"

"Haha nice" I said holding my hand up for a high five

He laughed and gave me a high five. Just then, Alli came downstairs, she was wearing beige shorts, a white tank top and a white blazer, finishing off with her sunglasses and sandals.

"Hey! your here" she said giving me a hug

"Ya im here" i laughed and said hugging her back

"You look great, hey cody has that tank top" she said

"Thanks you do too, and yeah i know he told me" I said

"So ya ready to go gurl?" she said

"You know it gurl" I said

"girls.." cody said shaking his head

We all laughed. Cody offered to drive us to the mall. it took about 10 minutes to get there. He told us to call Brad when we were finished, so he could pick us up.

"Alright so where to first" i asked

"Girl when you shop with me, we go anywhere and everywhere" she said

"Oh lord" I said

Alli meant what she said, by the time we broke for lunch we had visited so many stores i lost track. However i did buy some cool summer clothes, 7 muscle tanks, 3 skirts, 5 shorts. Alli had way more bags than me, surprise surprise. We didnt feel like eating anything so we just got smoothies and started walking on the beach and talked.

"Wow what a great day, i'd say it was pretty productive" i said

"haha yes it was, i'm glad i met you Kayla" Alli said

"You are?" i asked

"Of course! Your so down to earth, kind, funny and so easy to talk to" she said

I smiled and said "I'm glad i met you too, you so easy to talk to and you hilarious, i love hanging with you.

She was about to say something when i stopped her.

"Wait, i want to instagram our shopping day" I said

I made her turn around, made sure the light was hitting her perfectly.

"....and done" I said capturing the perfect shot

I instagramed it with the caption: Shopping date with @AlliSimpson #girlsday

She looked over my shoulder and said "Woah thats so rad, I'm totally reposting that shot" 

"Whats your Instagram?" she asked

"@CaptureTheMemories" i said

She followed me. We talked some more until it was getting late, so she called her dad. He pulled up in a really nice black van.

* In the Car*"

"Hey dad" Alli said

"Hey Alls whos this" He asked gesturing towards me

"Hi i'm kayla" I said

"Shes my new friend, i met her the other day and we instantly became besties" Alli said

"Alli you make friends faster than you clean your room" Brad said

We all laughed

"Can Kayla stay for dinner tonight?" Alli asked

"I don't see why not" Brad smiled and said

Brad finally pulled up in the driveway and we all piled out of the car. As soon as he opened the door i was attacked by a small maltese.

"Oh hello there" I laughed and said petting it

"Thats buddy, sorry he really loves people" Alli said

"No worries, i love dogs, i have a maltese/poodle mix back in Canada, her names Tron" I said

"Oh cool, we should walk our dogs, if i'm ever in DA TDOT" Alli said trying to be gangster

I laughed and said "Yeah sure, as long as you dont do that again"

She fake pouted and i said "love ya"

She smiled and said "love ya too"

She linked arms with mine and lead me to the kitchen. It was amazing. Right beside the kitchen was the TV room in which Cody and Tom were playing video ganes, and Allis mom was cutting vegetables in the kitchen when she looked up and noticed me.
