Capture the memories (A Cody Simpson fanfiction)

Chapter 21

Kaylas POV

Today was the day of Greysons birthday party, but i needed something to wear so Alli and I are going shopping. I woke up and hopped in the shower, when i came out i put on my blue garage track shorts and a black loose crop top. I grabbed my phone, my purse and i was out the door.

As soon as Brad dropped us off we went into Forever 21, I had no luck however Alli found a purple, strapless dress with ruffles at the bottom. 

"Simple but elegant" She said as we came out of the store

"Meanwhile i im probably going to go naked" I joked

"I pulled out so many options for you" Alli said

"Im sorry, i appreciate it but those dresses wernt my style" i said

Alli thought for a moment and said "Come with me"

She brought me into hollister, and eventually i found the perfect dress, it was navy blue with red and white flowers on it. 

After purchasing it i said "Now this is my style, thanks Alli"

"No problem girlie" Alli said

I decided to get dressed at Allis since she was doing my makeup as well. I hopped into the shower and washed my hair and put on my robe i found Alli in her room and she was also in her robe.

"Alright glam me up" I said

"Yes!" she said

Alli curled my hair into lose, wavy curls and for my makeup she made it natural and put on some red lipgloss to finish. I put on my black flats, since i wanted to dance.

"Wait!" Alli said

"Yeah?" I said

"Your hair needs something" Alli said

"How about this" I said as i pulled a navy bow out of my pocket

"this is so cute" Alli said as she clipped the bow in

"Cody will be speechless" she said winking

"He has a girlfriend" I said as Alli was getting ready

"Yeah but if you told him how you felt it could be you" Alli said

"He made his decision" i said

"Whatever, you can turn around now" Alli said

As i turned around i gasped "Alli you look amazing!" She was wearing her hair in beach waves, she had nude black heels and natural makeup and a nude lipgloss.

"You look good too" Alli said

"Ya ready?" I said

"Lets go" she said linking her arm with mine

Alli went downstairs first and then as i came downstairs Cody was at the bottom. I had to admit he looked hot, with his black skinnies, white vneck and leather jacket. 

Cody kept staring and said "kayla you look.. wow"

I smiled and said "thanks"

He was about to say something else but i closed his mouth and said "Youll catch flies with your mouth hanging open"

We got into Codys car and drove off to the club where Greysons party was at

When we got there so many celebs were there, Alli introduced me to Madison Pettis, Olivia Holt, and Kylie Jenner. We all pretty much hung out in a group.

"Hey guys" Greyson said as he came up to us

Everyone wished him happy birthday giving him a hug

"Youre kayla right?' he asked

"Yeah happy birthday" I said

"Cody does not shut up about you" He said

I just laughed and smiled

"C'mon lets dance" Alli said grabbing me by the hand

We all started dancing in a group, i took dance for 2 years so i busted out some pretty sick hip hop moves, well the most i could do in a dress. 

"Dang girl you got some moves" Alli said

Just then Cody and Gigi joined us 

"Hey Gigi" I said giving her a hug

"Hey i saw you on the dance floor, youre good" Gigi complimented

"Thanks" I said

We danced some more until a slow dance came on, Cody took Gigi by the hand and they started slow dancing. i on the other hand went back to the table with Alli.

"We're pretty much forever alone" Alli said

"Haha at least we have eachother" I said

Just then Greyson came up to us and said "Hey Alli wanna dance?"

She blushed and giggled "Sure, Kayla will you be okay?"

"Yeah go ahead" i said

I watched as everyone was slow dancing, i decided to go on my phone just then the slow song ended.

The dj said "Ok this is a special request time to get funky!" 

He put on a disco pop song, i loved this song so much. 

"Hey" Someone said behind me

I turned around and it was Cody 

"Hey" i said

"Dont you like disco pop?" he said

"Can't dance exactly by myself" i said

He smiled and outstretched his hand "dance with me"

"Are you sure?" i said

"Yeah" He said smiling

I took his hand and he lead me to the dance floor. He outstretched his and and i stepped back, i then took his hand and he twirled me into facing him. He put one hand on my waste and held my hand with the other, and i put one hand on his shoulder and held his hand with the other. We moved to the beat, during the climax of the song i put my hand on is chest and stepped back he grabbed my hand and twirled me. For the big finish i ran and jumped into his arms while he lifted me up, as the song ended he set me down and we looked into eachothers eyes. 

We were interupted by the crowd cheering us on

I smiled at him and said "That was fun" 

"Yeah.. fun" Cody said

"thanks, i better find Alli" i said

"I better find Gigi" He said 

We then went in separate directions. Was i the only one who felt like that was more than just two friends dancing. Then, it hit me.. Im still in love with Cody Robert Simpson

OOOOh someones in looooove ;) haha hope you guys enjoyed this really cute chapter, i hope you kind of got what i was saying when Kayla and Cody were dancing i got it from the movie 'Endless love' the dance scene.
