Chapter 30

Kaylas POV

*Christmas Morning*

I woke up feeling very happy, first cause it was christmas and second.. well i know that Cody likes me too. The sad part is, is that he's taken. Anyway, once everyone was up we all went downstairs to open gifts.

"Okay" Angie said "This is how its going to work, we are going around the circle and opening gifts and each person gets two guesses, then the person has to reveal themselves"

Tom went first, he opened his gift to reveal a minecraft skin maker. "YES this is what i always wanted" he said

"Hmmm" he said looking around "Alli?" he asked

"Dang how did you know?" Alli asked

"Well your not very good at hiding your gift" Tom said "But thanks i love it"

"No problem lil bro" Alli said as they hugged

Gigi was next, the box was silver with a sparkling ribbon, definatley a work of Codys. She opened the box to reveal a tiffany and co necklace. "Oh my gosh, this is beautiful" I knew what it meant, the first time Cody went to New York with her, they had breakfast at Tiffanys.

Gigi looked around the room "uhh Alli?" she said

"Honey i wish" she said

"Cody?" Gigi guessed again

"Correct" Cody said smiling

"Thank you so much" Gigi said giving him a hug, they would have kissed but Angie and Brad were there

It was Codys turn, my heart was pounding, it was the smallest out of all the gifts, i didn't have much money like the rest of them. "Woah" he said as he opened the box revealing a guitar pick, he flipped it on the back to reveal a date. 

"The date of my first live concert" he said

He looked around the room, i could not look him in the eye. "Gigi?" he guessed

"Nope" Gigi said

"Uhhh Alli?" Cody guessed again

"Nope" Alli said glancing over to me and smiling, she knew that i got him

"Okay i give up" Cody said

"It was me" I said

Cody turned to look at me, he was surprised "Really, wow i was way off"

"Sorry, its a small gift" I said feeling ashamed

"Its not, its such a thoughtful gift, thank you" he said giving me a hug

I can tell you right now, that wasnt a 'friendly hug'

After everyone opened presents, we all had a few hours to do our own thing before we visited family.  Alli, Cody, Gigi and I were sitting around on our phones

I was uploading beach pictures on instagram when my phone vibrated with an email. I opened it and it read:

Hey Kayla!

Just a reminder that tomorrow you need to come in for your check up to see how your wrist is doing! Have an amazing holiday!

I instantly smiled at my phone. I could feel my wrist getting better already. I turned to Alli who was right beside me

"Hey i have to go in for my wrist check up tomorrow, can you come with me?" i asked
