The day of Louse and Paul's departure came by fast. However, Louise and Rachel barely talked.

The plan was Richard will take them to the airport and Rachel will follow after her quick board meeting.

"Wala ka na bang nakalimutan, 'nak?" Richard asked.

"Wala na, Pa." Louise sighed, "Sa tingin mo makakaabot si Mama?"

"Sigurado ako."

Rachel was on the way to the airport and she has been think about what happened between her and Louise. Louise was right. It was right for her to take that course, to take Medicine. Rachel should have never forced her to take business just because that was what she and Richard got degrees on or because both family lines have great companies. Back in college, she took business because she wanted to. Not because her mom and dad told her too. And she's pretty sure that the same goes for Richard. It finally sank into her. She was wrong.

Luckily, she was able to find a parking space not too far from the entrance. She checked the back seat if the wrapped box was still there before getting out of her car to start ooking for her mag-ama.

She saw them by door of the main entrance where a line was just starting to form. "Richard," she called out.

On the other hand, Richard looked at Louise and Paul, "Sabi ko sayo aabot yan, e."

"Ma.." Louise said.

"Did you guys forget anything? Chargers, shoes, watches.. all good?" They both nodded. She turned to Louise, "Can we talk? Saglit lang, we'll go sa car."

They went to Rachel's car and Louise sighed.

"Anak, I'm sorry. I know I should have never told yo--tried to force you to take business. It was right for you to change it. Why would you take a course na hindi mo naman gusto? Kung gusto mo mag-medicine at magmed-school, go ahead. I'll support you."
Louise smiled, "Thank you, Mama. But still, I'm sorry."

Rachel tucked some of Louise's hair back, "It's okay na. Pero I still want you to know that most of the reason why I was mad was because of the fact that you didn't tell me. The medicine thing was just sort of a surprise reflex, you know? But, like what I said, it's okay na."

"It was just that I was scared na madidisappoint kita."

"I know you most likely never will.. at least not to that extent," Rachel said that double meaningly. They giggled and Rachel got the box from the back seat.

"I have something for you.." she gave her the box, ".. open it."

She did and her jaw just dropped. It was a lavender Littman stethoscope. "Now.. it's already opened because.." She turned the bell, "I got it engraved." It said L. Gomez.

She hugged her mom, "Thank you, Mama

She hugged her mom, "Thank you, Mama."

"No problem, Anak. According kasi sa calculations ko, you should be starting your residency next year?"

"Correct!"

They giggled and hugged one last time before they returned to the boys.

Richard saw Louise with her new stethoscope, "Ganda namang peace offering yan!"

"May name ko pa 'yan, o!" Louise showed off.

"Aba, spoiled ng nanay hangang ngayon," Richard joked.

Rachel shrugged her shoulder while Louise stuck her tongue out like how she would before.

"Oh, sige na.. you guys go ahead." Rachel said. She kissed Louise and Paul. Then Richard did.

When they received a text from Paul that they were already checked in and are just waiting to board, they headed home.

While on the way, they held hands. Glances here and there. Then, a familiar song of theirs played on the radio. Panalangin by Sarah G.

He hummed to the song as he was driving. She looked at him, admiring his face. The Richard that always pulled a naughty boy look is still evident on his face. She smiled upon this thought, he caught her.

     "Gwapo ko, 'no?" He winked.

     "Ay, ganun? Gwapo agad?"

"Yeah. It's just either of two things, e. Either gwapong-gwapo ka saakin, or inlove na inlove ka nanaman saakin. Tama ba?" He winked at her again, this time with a mischievous smile.

She playfully slapped his thigh, "Ako nga, tigil-tigilan mo. Mag-drive ka na lang!"

The traffic light had its red light on, Richard turned to Rachel and pinched her chin, "Sus, pakipot ka pa. Kinikilig ka lang kamo." He laughs, "Do you want to grab something to eat saglit?"

She laughs before answering, "Yeah. Conti's?"

     "Sweet tooth today, huh?"

She nods, "Mango Bravo sounds so good right now."

He just smiles and turns around to go to Alabang.
