A weeks later

Hello?

*Drip, drop*

Am I in the sewers?

*Drip, Drop*

I turn around, facing a cage.

*Drip*

I see glowing red eyes meeting mine.

*Drop*

Dad?

*Snarl*

Claws extend towards me as I scream in horror.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I gasp as I wake up in bed with sweat drenching me. I look around frantically as I try to calm my racing heart. I look at the bed sheets and sigh at the sweat mark I left. "Great now I need to wash the bed sheets the ninja way..." I mutter under my breath. I go towards my bathroom and take a shower.
Fully refreshed and sweat free, I take a new bundle of clothes. I sigh as the sun shines through my room and on me.
I place my notebook and other school supplies back into my bag as I quickly make scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast and leaving out for the day, not caring that it was 6:00 a.m. and way too damn early.
Might as well study and practice for a bit. I hum, not wanting to loose any time.
It was 7:30 when I finished and start making my way to the academy.
I lean next to the swing as I close my eyes and take in the scenery. "Today is the final day and the day that Naruto gets his headband if I'm not mistaken." I said quietly to myself.
I then walk inside Iruka's classroom. I take my seat and stare out the window. Naruto walks towards his seat as he flashes me a wide grin.
I then see flares of red chakra, beckoning me to come closer. I already know that Kurama is sealed inside Naruto and that he and Naruto will become best friends. But the red chakra from Kurama was like a bright neon sign that I couldn't ignore. I turn towards Naruto and tap his forehead with my finger.
I then whisper to him, "I know you want to get freed and have  fun with me, but be patient, today nor in a few years will it yet be your time to get out." The red chakra dims as he understands what I'm saying.
I let out a sigh of relief as I look at a confused blushing Naruto. "E-Etsuko. W-why did you d-do that?" I giggled as I tell him, "Just cause you look adorable right now." I then let out a giggle as I turn my head back to the front, ignoring Naruto's stutters and the developing awkward tension.
I ignore Iruka's lecture and how we can only pass to be a genin by doing the shadow clone jutsu. I tune back in as I hear Naruto's name being called.
I smile and say, "Don't worry Naruto, you'll get your headband. I believe in you!" He smiles at me as he walks towards Iruka. After he fails miserably does Iruka call me.
I sigh as I massage my temples. I get in front of everyone and the judges. One of the judges was of course Mizuki. I sigh as he smiles at me and says, "Okay Etsuko, no need to be nervous, just relax and focus."
I roll my eyes at him and say in a whisper, "Mizuki, your mind would be your downfall." I then walk in the center and focus. Ignoring Mizuki's confused stare, I feel my boiling chakra and did a few hand-signs that I've memorized by watching Naruto doing it. Then I open my eyes as I sigh as I didn't hear any poof sound that the summoning does with clones. "Why me?" I said lamely.
