Chapter 5 - Meeting my father

Is she okay?

"Muzz bee.. shesss hiss daughter right?" *buzz*

Wait how did she get here in the first place? *gallop*

"It's her time. Have you guys seriously not noticed her appearance?" *purrr*

Wonder what Karuma will think about that... *grumble*

"Think about what you one-tail?!" *growls*

Wait my appearance? And is that Kurama?

I groggily wake up and sit up. I blink a few times as I try to figure out where I am. I see a bare landscape and I keep on hearing hushed voices. One of them caught my attention.

"Matatabi is that you?"

"...."

"Yes it is I child."

"Why can't I see you? I want to see you again."

"Well it has been a long time." *purrs*

"Oh and while we're still talking. Where am I?"

"....."

"Well it's hard to explain. You are in the Tailed Beast Psyche Plane where us tailed beast communicate and are safe from the akatsuki. Our real bodies are in grave danger while we are in this state. But since we are sealed in jinchurikies most of the time, it's more convenient."

"If you call not being able to run and gallop convenient. Count me out." *galloping nervously*

"Hey Matatabi if you guys can speak to each other. Then why can't I see you?"

"That'sss because we don't want to be ssseen child of Kurama." *buzz*

I feel my eye twitch in irritation.

"I just want to meet you guys in person. I already know that some of you guys are actually captured by the akatsuki and are sealed. Some of you are laying low. So please can I meet you in person? It will be such an honor."

I heard the tailed beasts softly murmur. They seemed to have come with a decision.

"Okay child. But promise you won't tell no one about what you will see." Said Matatabi.

I smile as I say. "I Etsuko Haiku promise on thou life to not tell of what thee shall see today."

I then see Matatabi in front of me. Sitting with her bright blue flames dancing on her. And her two graceful long blue lit flames swaying behind her. She gave me a smile as I run up to her and give a bear hug to her.

"Man! Matatabi I didn't know you will actually be this big! But then I already knew....."

Matatabi looks at me weirdly but shrugs it off. I jump towards her humongous head and start scratching behind her left ear. She purrs as her two tailed sway in her pleasure of being scratched.

"Hey human why is she getting all the treatment?"

I turn towards my right as I see the one-tailed cat. What was his name?..... Oh right... Shukaku.

"Ehehe.. Sorry Shuk. Is it okay if I call you that. Shukaku is a long name though... Ah, and to answer your question. No, she Matatabi won't be the only one getting the treatment from me."
