Chapter 27 - Everything Gone Wrong

Third person's pov.

As the white feathers slowly fall to the ground. Everyone within its proximity fell asleep. Their shoulders hunched, their head hanging low. You would've though they were dead if it weren't for their soft breathing. At the balcony a disguise is revealed. A hidden truth that would cost the lives of many. The few who were awake woke as much ninjas as possible. Including Naruto, Shikamaru, and a few others.

The two who were once battling on the ground were not there. The one losing his mind flees towards the forest. While his opponent dares not leave him out of his sight. Naruto and Sakura notice this and quickly try to catch up to him.

The enemies that were with Etsuko have quickly left for battle, not noticing that the one who could stop this was still wide awake. An amused smile is on her face, the smile turns into a frown as she sees the balcony. Soon the ground shakes in fury and the sound of loud thuds fills the air. She sighs as she makes a clone. What will she do you wonder? Well even I do not know.

Etsuko's pov.

Ah, this is such a mess. And I have to be the one to try and save all those people's lifes. And it's not helping that I have a feeling in my gut that Hiruzen is going to die no matter what I do...

"You are correct. I also have a feeling that this is what fate has chosen for him. And it can not be altered." Shinju says sadly.

"I knew that was probably going to happen. But even if it all goes down for nothing. I still have to try." I said smiling sadly.

The clone I made smiles sadly as well and suddenly hugs me. I pat her back.

"Thanks but I'm fine. I will send more clones your way. Although knowing my strength and brains. That probably would be over kill right? Ah, but you guys will disappear if hit. I at least will give you some weapons." I said with a small smile.

I take out a scroll I have kept in my pouch and open it up. I bite my thumb as I smear my blood on paper. Soon enough a katana as red as blood and eerily beautiful pops out.

"Take this, even if you dissapear the katana will go with you. I have placed a third of my chakra to you. Don't give me that face you know I basically have infinite chakra supply now go! Help Naruto and try to keep Gaara from destroying everything!"I yell as my clone gives me a curt nod before disappearing.

I sigh as I place my scroll away and look at Kakashi and Guy fighting the Anbu. Guess I should help them to.

I summon fifty clones, all having a portion of my chakra so that they may aid in both defending and rescuing the citizens. I grit my teeth.

As much as my gut says these people aren't like the ones I know from the anime. I have to protect them. It is my duty as future protector of this place.

As soon as my clones disperse do I turn around and face the balcony. I see Orochimaru grabbing Hiruzen and threatening the Anbu by having a kunai at his throat. I guess that's my cue.

I jump over the seats and follow the silhouettes of the chasing Anbu.

Orochimaru suddenly stops on front of of the Hokage Mountain, a wide clear cement floor was there and as the Anbu yell for Orochimaru to release Hiruzen. I bolt at fast as I could towards them, barely going inside the newly erected barrier.
