Chapter 16 - Chunin Exams Part 5

Etsuko's pov.

I watch boredly as Shino fights. I already knew that he was going to win and now that Naruto and Sasuke fought, I'm not too interested in the other battles.

And since the other battles were going to take a long time, I decide to go and visit the Hokage for the 'Orochimaru business'. I yawn as I teleport to the upper balcony where all the kazekages and hokages were watching.

"Hi Hokage-sama~" I said casually.

The kages and the Anbu got tense and quickly turn towards me.

"What? What did I do?" I ask blinking slowly.

The Anbu were about to attack me with kunai in hand when I suddenly start to giggle.

"Hihihi.. Hahaha!" I said laughing loudly.

By the faces they were making I believe that I was scaring them. My laughs slowly dies out as I calm myself down.

"I-I'm s-sowwy! I-it just t-that your faces are t-to funny! Hahaha.." I said wiping a tear from my eye.

I then suddenly become serious as some of my old mask goes back on.

"Sorry for the little intrusion Hokage-sama but I have urgent news that may affect the very well being of the hidden leaf and the chunin exams. I think you already know who I'm talking about but I'm going to be in further detail. But for me to report this I need you to let us talk in a private place." I said seriously, my eyes narrowing.

The Hokage's eyes narrow in confusion till he stubbornly says.

"If it is something that I know I believe that the others have the right to hear." He said gruffly.

I sigh as I shake my head.

"I knew you were going to say that so I made this jutsu in case this happened." I sigh as I snap my fingers.

Hidden Jutsu - Field of corruption

A clear force field is placed around me and the Hokage. The other Kages and the Anbu won't hear of our conversation but instead a fake one that they all want to hear or least suspect.

"Now that should keep our secrets from getting to unwanted ears. Yes?" I ask looking towards the hokage.

He narrows his eyes but nods for me to continue.

"Okay as you know Orochimaru is here and he is much closer than you think." I said glaring the sand village's kazekage wearyingly.

"Second he is planning attack with the sand village aiding him. He is going to attack with his pet snakes and something else that will put all of us in danger.." I said pausing.

"One of the participants of the chunin exams from the Sand village is the holder of the one-tail. He can't control it thus the beast can take over the holder and destroy the village." I said watching the arena carefully.

The hokage eyes turn stone cold as he says in a cold voice.

"Tell me Etsuko who are you really?" He says with piercing eyes watching my every move.

I sigh as I shake my head sadly.

"Might as well tell you... You know that my surname is Haiku right? Well did you knew that that was a short end version of it?" I ask.

The Hokage's face hardens as he nods a no.

"I'll give you a hint. It was destroyed around four hundred years ago, and is one of the few clans that had contact with the nine tails... Do you have the answer?" I ask cautiously.
