Chapter 26 - The Final Chunin Exams Part 6

I see...

I see two cloaks..

And three people against them...

They're... talking about someone...

The ones with cloaks are talking about the ... 'kyuubi' and someone else I can't hear.

Then I realized...

That someone.

Was about me.

And the three people were crying..

As if... someone precious was gone.

Four days has passed. Naruto woke up from the hospital and Etsuko managed not to tear anybody apart. Gaara was found in Lee's hospital room and it's now the first day of the second part of the preliminaries.

Now let's go to where Etsuko would probably be late because of Naruto shall we?

Etsuko's pov.

I am running at top speed right now with Naruto behind me, crying.

We were going to be a bit late. But not Kakashi late or at least I hope.

"Keep your legs moving Naruto! We're almost there!" I yell.

I turn around again to see if he was keeping up but by the sweat pouring off him and his rigid breaths, I believe he's going to fall over any second. Frick, come on Etsuko, think! Is there anything to make us get to the chunin exams faster?!

Then I remember.

Wait didn't I learn flight? I went through my brain. Dang it! I didn't get to practice it! I learned the technique but haven't had enough time to practice!

I look back at Naruto and find him lagging behind. He was in the hospital for three days. Plus the fact that he met Gaara while he was going to kill Lee was probably weighing on his mind. And I guess he didn't exercise enough to regain his stamina.

"Tch. I guess I have to practice in broad daylight." I sigh.

I do the hand signs and whisper.

Beast Jutsu - Flight

My eyes widen as pure white wings appear from my back. Naturally it had to rip some of my kimono but my hair will cover it.

I pump my wings and slightly flutter behind Naruto.

"Naruto-kun! I need to carry you, so please don't let go!" I yell as I pick him up by his arms and pump my wings with more energy.

"Wait, whaaa-" He was caught off as I decided to pump in some chakra into my wings to see if it would be easier to carry Naruto because he's so heavy and guess what? It works!

I pump my wings one more time and we're soaring over Konoha.

Let's see where is it. Where is it. There!

I see a stadium of sorts with a crowd already in. So I'm going to have to show them my wings. Well it can't be helped.

"Hold on Naruto! I'm going to go a bit faster!" I yell as I fly higher and tuck in my wings, falling towards the stadium at great speed.

"Whoooo! This is awesome!" Naruto yells.
