Chapter 12 - The Chunin Exams Part 2

Etsuko's pov.

I don't listen towards Ibiki's announcement. When all the sheets are out, the Chunin Exams has begun.

I look towards the mirrors and notice that Ten Ten is moving them towards different directions. I look at the test. I actually find it pretty easy. Huh guess I don't need to cheat. I answer questions one through nine in just ten seconds. Hey what can I say? I'm a fast reader.

Then I felt as if someone is trying to enter my mind, which I find very annoying. Me knowing that the only person who can transfer minds is Ino. I think about Naruto and JUST Naruto. This seems to have either bothered her or just made her gag. Because after a few minutes the pressure on my head disappears. I smile.

That's what you get for trying to get into a Haikuzuke's mind. I thought. Anyway after the time was up, Ibiki asks us the question.

"Okay brats. The last question will make you either pass or fail. If you or one of your teammates get this answer incorrectly then your squad all will fail." He said.

One by one, six teams have left. I then look at Sakura and nod my head in a no gesture. She seemed to understand and relaxes her hand.

Then I saw Naruto's hand going up. I smile as I knew what was coming.

When he gave he's whole 'I won't give up!' speech did I pay attention. After I felt Anko's chakra. I grin as I hug her.

"Hello Anko-san!" I said cheerfully.

Anko and everyone in the flicking room stares at me as if I was having a crazy mental disorder. I let go as I do a close-eye smile. Anko narrows her eyes but smiles at me anyway. She then turns over at Ibiki.

"Aww now is old Ibiki losing his touch or getting soft? They're more maggots here than usual." She said with a sharp grin.

"No, it's just that we seem to have a tough bunch this year." He says matter-of-factly.

"Aw well, won't matter anyway. I will get rid off more than half of these maggots anyway." She shrugs causally.

I can sense everyone have disbelief faces.

"Alright you maggots! I'm your second protector! Meet me up at the Forest of Death. That's if you dare." She says with her sharp grin and suddenly jumps out the window again.

Man Anko is one of my top ten favorite people in Naruto. I grin as I wave bye to her.

I ignore Sakura and her worries as to why we are going to the Forest of Death. When we finally arrive there do I start paying attention.

Anko than does the 'you might die' speech. She then quickly throws a kunai at Naruto. I grin as I flash-step in front of the kunai and grab it with my two fingers. Blood slightly oozes out of my fingers but I don't feel it at all. I clean my blood off her kunai and throw it back at her.

"Here's your kunai back Anko. But may you please refrain yourself as to hurting Naruto?" I ask with such authority that I'm surprise that I wasn't a queen.

She gives me a sharp grin as she throws multiple kunai at me. I sigh as I let a little of my chakra to leak out of my refrained jutsu.

This caused all the kunai to be swept away by the amount of winds that my chakra made.

Anko gives me her sharp grin.

"Knew I liked you kid for a reason." She says licking her kunai.

I grin.

"Who wouldn't like me?" I ask with an innocent tilt of my head.

Everyone looks at Anko with fear and disgust. Then I sense a dark chakra behind me.

"May you return this kunai to the protector?" Says the creepy grass ninja.

I narrow my eyes as I extend my hand. I see his snake like tongue slowly give me the kunai. I give a forced smile.

"Thank you."

I then toss the kunai back to Anko. She then explains that we need to sign the contract in case we die and that each team will either have the haven or earth scroll plus we needed to get both of them at 3 days tops. I sign it and when everyone else who wasn't a coward signed as well she yells.

"GO!!"

I quickly body flicker and was way ahead from the other teams. So I use my sensory-nin to detect where Squad 7 is. I'm actually surprised that they were way behind me. Blueberry Cider Mcficckles.

After I finally saw them in view do I see that Orochimaru has finally made his appearance. He grins as he was on top of his snake. Then comes Naruto and I see that dad's chakra is all over him. He then says as he faces Sasuke with the white snake behind him.

"What are you standing there for you scaredy cat?" He says in a slightly deeper voice.

Naruto then gets swallowed by the snake in which he just rips it apart inside and out. Then Naruto gets trapped by Orochimaru's tongue. I see him do the hand signs of the Gogyo Fuiin. Now he slams his flaming purple hand into Naruto's stomach, I then have my Kin no Tora at his throat. His eyes widen.

"Bet you that you didn't sense me right?" I asks in a murderous tone.

My eyes glow red and they turn catlike. I have whisker like marks and my nails grow. I growl as I say.

"Now be a good Snake-sennin and let him go." I say.

Orochimaru glares at me with slightly wide eyes. But when I give him my killer glare does he forcefully throws Naruto. Now before Naruto dies by falling, Sakura with her quick thinking, throws a kunai, making Naruto hang stiffly.

"Who are you?" Orochimaru asks.

"I'm Etsuko Haikuzuke, fourth member of squad 7. And by the blessing of my ancestors, you shall go back to the evil in wence you came." I said with power and authority.

Orochimaru laughs and it sounded like sandpaper against metal and trust me it's not a pretty sound at all. He then gets substituted with a bunch of snakes. I turn around behind me and I see him having a weird handsign. He cackles as he says.

"I was planning on giving Sasuke a little present-" He says while looking at Sasuke.

I growl as I narrow my eyes.

His neck then quickly extends as I ready my Kin no Tora. My eyes then widen as I see his neck that was going towards Sasuke change directions. It wasn't going to bite Sasuke. Oh no. He was going to bite me.

Before his nasty mouth can even touch my fricken skin. I jump which made his neck come at me. I then throw paper bombs at his face and as I did. I swing my Kin no Tora behind me. Now my Kin no Tora was battling against Orochimaru's fangs. He hisses as he gives me a push. I growl as I use my left hand and slash his ugly butt face off. He screeches but before he can do anything. I do a few handsigns.

"Sacred technique. Lightning Nightmare." I said in a cold whisper.

The black lightning hits Orochimaru in the face which then electrocuted his whole body. His eyes roll back as his whole body is scorched. His head then collapses towards the floor. I huff as my features turn back to normal.

I then flash-step towards Naruto and sigh. My hands then glow a faint light green as I heal him. When my hands stop glowing green, I tend towards Sasuke. He glares at me in which I glare back and he just stays quite as I heal him. I then examine Sakura and decide she doesn't need any healing. I was about to leave until I heard Sakura.

"T-Thanks... Etsuko, thanks for helping us." She said with teary eyes.

I give her a close-eye smile.

"It was my pleasure." I said as I then start to leave.

But before I do I hear a snap from a twig. I turn around and then thought.

"Holy mother of freaking fish."
