Darkness that's all I can see.

Yet there is something sinister that's hiding deep in it.

No not hiding.

It's waiting, with bright red eyes and ghostly fur, fangs open, ready to devour my very being.

But there's something holding it back.

A faint pink glow is standing in behind it, chains suddenly appear, gold and holy, bounding the beast.

The beast roars in its fury, a flurry of paper covers it's fur, smothering it like a mummy.

And the beast waits, for the next time it'll sure to be free. But until then, it's other half shall suffer with it.

And that other half.

Its me.

In the deepest conscious of Etsuko's mind

Shinju looks worriedly at the screen in front of her. Etsuko, her mistress was in so much pain, and the deepest of her subconscious has been greatly disturbed.

She looks down.

The once clear waters on the floor were half stained with oozing black tar like liquid.

And the once loud banging sounds were quiet.

Shinju remembers the first time such a disturbance happened.

It was the time Etsuko first met Zabuza if she recalled correctly.

~Flashback~

Shinju was staring in the eyes of Etsuko, feeling what she was feeling, as well as the inner turmoil of her humongous chakra.

When Etsuko snapped, Shinju felt the restraint of her seal weakened, so she decided to send a small bit of her own chakra to help her mistress.

She knew Etsuko didn't need the aid, her hidden chakra was already enough to send bits of the land into the air, but she figures that a small bit of her own malicious chakra was needed for her to be intimidating.

As she continued to watch the screen she realizes something.

Etsuko, her figure, it was changing.

At first Etsuko appeared to be a mini kurama, or at least his jinchuriki if angered.

But there was something... off.

That was when she felt a small earthquake, a deep malicious snarl shook the entire room, eye wide, she sees not too far that one of the many hallways in her prison was oozing back tar like liquid.

At first it was small, a leak, but later the leak turned into a river.

Then all of a sudden a dark, beastly burst of aura shakes the walls of Etsuko's consciousness.

It was quickly snuffed out by a bright pinkish purple glow engulfing the hallway, and the black tar like liquid dissipated, as if cleansed by the light.

She shuddered.

That dark aura was so potent, so malicious, even if it was a small burst, she couldn't help but feel fear.

Whatever it was that held that power and was immensely powerful.

And whatever the being that was sealed is, it was so heavily sealed that she, a being of pure chakra and also sealed in the same hostess, couldn't sense at all must have been more powerful than even her.
