Etsuko's pov.

I was dead tired after Isamu cried on my head for over an hour. I wince as I still feel a burning ache on my head. Isamu, who put his disguise back on, was blabbering about his species.

'Hell hounds are protectors that demon's use. They are also the embodiment of death and when one smells their foul odor they die. Which I'm lucky that I don't because I'm pretty sure every one would dislike me more. That's about my mum's species, my dad's is basically a youkai or demon dog in some sorts. They can transform into a spirit of a wolf and have a ghostly appearance of it. They have more endurance and strength than a hell hound, but are much more sensitive to holy things. They also might have an affinity that they can control, such as wind, fire, and earth. And since I'm a mixture of the two species, I have a ghostly appearance, don't have a foul odor, am stronger than a hell hound, and may have control over fire and other things..' Isamu says excitedly.

A ghost of a smile appears across my lips as I hear him.

People were staring at us, either because of Isamu's size or because he was barking a lot for no apparent reason. I say both.

Then we finally arrived at our house and I slowly open the door with the house keys. With a creek the door opens. Isamu and I enter the living room as I sit down on the couch.

He sits obediently at my side and peers over me curiously.

'By the way master. You never told me what happened these past few days or why you have a pair of ears.' He says as he tilts his head.

I blink in surprise as I start to sweat.

"O-oh, I haven't? Weren't you with me when I summoned Fusaaki?" I ask nervously.

'Master we literally stayed 15 meters away from you, and then you ran off somewhere. I didn't want to follow you because that will be disobeying your order.' He deadpans.

I laugh nervously as I sweat drop.

'Besides I only heard bits and pieces since your friend made me and Akamaru half deaf, so we couldn't really hear much.' He says.

"Okay, Okay I get it! Let's go to my room and talk about it." I said looking towards the clock in the kitchen.

"And soon it's already 8:36p.m. almost time to sleep." I whisper as me and Isamu walk up the stairs silently.

We walk pass Naruto's room as he is knocked out on the bed, by the looks of it he was putting away the boxes and finally finished.

As we walk through the hall, I open the door to my room and enter with Isamu behind me.

I sigh as I plop on my bed as he sits in front of me, waiting.

"Now where do I start?" I ask.

'Start about your traumatic experience you had that made you cry. You didn't explain that either and about those ears of yours.' Isamu replies.

"The start then." I sigh.

Thirty minutes of story telling later...

Isamu has his eyes wide with tears.

'I'm sorry! I'm so sorry for asking you!' Isamu whimpers.

"Sshh. It's okay Isamu, it was all in the past. He can't hurt me here." I coo as I pet his soft head.

We were like that for a while. Until he stopped crying and pleading for forgiveness.

'Now I'll never abandon you master! Even if the entire universe is against you, I'll always be by your side!' Isamu barks with stars in his eyes.
