After meditation and studying for an hour, my friends Aranellevanima, and Saironelloletoron arrived for some discussion before our trials. We were all upset that we would be unable to watch each other's trials, so we had decided the night before to meet at my house at 9:15 a.m. WTT.(Wizards tower time) I started the conversation by asking "Are you all as nervous and excited as I am?"

Aranellavanima responded"Probably more so, judging by the fact you don't seem to be either. As a necromancer, my challenge has to involve life in some way, or at least the life force, and I am usually great at manipulating the Life Force. My master, Heruellomornie, says I am probably the most powerful Necromancer in this dimension!"

Saironelloletoron laughed and queried "Tithingwanatharanel(Little Death Princess), has anyone ever told you that you are far too gay to be a necromancer? You might make a decent enchanter?"

"Saironelloletoron, How many times have I asked you not to call me that! Necromancers don't simply kill things, they bring them back to life too! Your previous statement was far out of line! How would you feel if I made fun of you for being a Transmuter?"

Saironelloletoron retorted "You couldn't. Transmuters are too cool."

I butted in "Well, I guess you're the exception. Did you both have breakfast?"

They both said yes, and then proceeded to eat some of the breakfast I had made earlier.

Saironelloletoron sat back and burped loudly, while I cleaned away their dishes. Aranellevanima glared at him when I turned around, and whispered: "You are disgusting, couldn't you have done that more quietly?"

Saironelloletoron grinned mischievously and burped louder. Aranellevanima dove at him but I transmuted the air to in front of her to create a pressure wall she couldn't jump through, and she was forced to sit back.down. Releasing the air so we didn't suffocate, I teleported their plates to the sink, and sat down at the table looking at them silently. Then I smiled. Then we all burst out laughing, and the conversation spiraled down to talk about the challenges that we were about to face. They would have it a lot easier than I would as discussed in chapter 1, but it gets even worse. The examiners wouldn't even tell me which challenge I was on, so that had to be decided by me in the arena. If I did not complete all 8 categories, using each method once, then I was banished. Finally, at ten o'clock a.m. WTT we bid each other farewell, because it was time for my challenges.
