1:Horn of Bolton's minotaur
2: skin of a Skin-changer
3: Blade or Osiris
4:Tome of Daedalus
5: Herb of Nennal(Water Dale)
6: Tooth of a Dragon
7: Hair of Armornie(Noble elf Darkness)
8:Poison of A Living Basilisk
9: Scale of a Red Dragon
10: Maidens blood
The longer I looked at this list, the more impossible the gathering of these items seemed. Who was Armornie for example, and how could we gather the poison of a basilisk without killing it? I figure I would start with the only one I knew enough of the legends about, Item 1, the horn of Bolton's Centaur. I walked over to the others and began to explain my plan. "We must head to Mistaostirion(Grey fortress with a watchtower), and into Bolton's forest."
"Why would we wish to do that?" Saironellotoron asked obliviously
"Most likely to gather supplies for the charging of the purple gem he showed us" Aranellevanima said innocently, which Saironellotoron took as in insult, and glared at her.
"Correct" I affirmed, grinning at their shenanigans that ensued from the misinterpretation of Aranellevanima's comment."Nimloth, says the activation of the crystal is necessary to our survival, which means we must gather all ten of these supplies. Specifically, we are Going to Bolton's forest, to gather the horn of the Minotaur who lives there. From the legends I have heard, The Minotaur will appear and kill anyone in the woods, after nightfall, on nights that sing the wind song of the tree's."
"How will we know if the wind song of the trees is being sung?" Saironellotoron pursued
"That is the interesting thing about Bolton's Forest, the trees had holes burrowed through them by an influx of a species of burrowing worm, that eventually the people of Mistaostirion, found a way to exterminate. These holes, when the wind blows through them give an illusion of the trees singing. This noise awakens the Minotaur, who then goes out hunting for prey. This will be our advantage, because I will cast an illusion in front of the Minotaur, causing it to charge, and then I will lower the illusion, and he should fall back asleep, if it is not really windy, and if all goes according to plan. Any Questions?" I asked.
"What will I be doing?"Aranellevanima asked, and I went to answer, but Saironellotoron inferred the answer and interrupted with "You are required to reanimate it to counter our need for brute strength."
I affirmed this claim, and we set off along the Northeastern road. Along our journey, about 10 miles in, we came across the Luncilya.(Deep Chasm) There, we turned west, and after another 2 miles, we set up camp for the night. Exhausted, I let them go to bed, and took the first watch.
...
At around 12:00a.m. WTT, Saironellotoron woke up, shaken, clearly from a nightmare, and could not get back to sleep, so we hung out until around 4:30 a.m. WTT, then I went to awaken Aranellevanima, who had slept peacefully, all night, and was within minutes as perky and alert as she had been the day before, looked at the two of us, Saironellotoron and I, slowly meandering about doing our clean-up and chores, and laughed. The sound surprised me, and I jumped startled, crashing into Saironellotoron, who was carrying the water for breakfast, causing the water to dump and soak both of us. She began to laugh so hard that she could not stand and had to sit down, and after a moment of shock, Saironellotoron, and I joined in. Although I was a little cold and damp, I lit a fire and set my outer cloak next to it to dry out, then went to get more water from the stream running into the Chasm. As I brought the pot back, Saironellotoron was making the wood more flammable through transmutation, and Aranellevanima was missing. "Saironellotoron, where did Aranellevanima run off to?" I questioned nervously, looking into the nearby woods, to try to catch a glimpse of her black cloak, but I did not see her.
