This part is a flashback, not Saironellotoron actually describing what happened, as I foreshadowed in part one of chapter eleven, because I am lazy, and I don't like writing dialogue. It will also be written from his point of view.

I woke up from my much-needed beauty sleep, and looked around, trying to figure out how long I had slept for, and saw Aranellevanima and Saironelloistya entering the city. I realized I had slept for less than five minutes, and stood up, taking note of the nearby cave, and the priest at the altar, preparing to sacrifice a young man who had volunteered for it, to forgive the sins of the city. As soon as I noticed the victim, I began to sprint towards the priest, muttering "loqoceleg" meaning "run swiftly" to stop him, but watched as I being still too slow, failed to stop him from thrusting this primal blade into the chest of the young man, who's blood poured out freely on Osiris's Altar.

While the sight of blood did not deter me, I walked over, and took the dagger from the priest, a smiling older gentleman, who continued to prepare the body, and asked him "Why did you kill him?"

The priest turned to me and stated "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, and this young man understood that. Why can't you?"

The philosophical nature of his reply, and his reversible question caught me off guard, so I just responded "If it was truly voluntary then the laws of the land state that I cannot interfere, but due to the faith that I uphold, I do not support of human sacrifice. "

He laughed "His death was voluntary, so fret not a mite. I request that you would respect my faith, and I will respect yours."

"What exactly is your faith?" I asked. "I know only the name of your patron god, Osiris, and that your faith is polygamous."

"My faith is one that was only discovered, through a direct transmission from the sky. According to the book we found in a chunk of space rubble, there are multiple celestial bodies, all floating in the sky. One of these, was a planet far away, capable of supporting life, specifically of the race of men, and was divided up into different sections, all ruled differently. One of these, was a place called Egypt, from what we know, and they worshiped the same Gods we do, but as they became more advanced. From the record, a book written by one who upheld the faith, Horus, one of our gods, became furious and struck the planet until it was destroyed. This led to a war of the heavens, which we believe ended with the victory of our patron god, Osiris, and his wife Isis. This record, now stored in the libraries of Meneltarma, was found on a chunk of space rubble, that entered during a meteorite shower."

"Where was it found?" I asked, now looking at the blade very closely, "and where did you get that blade?"

"This temple is carved out of the meteorite, and this blade is one of twenty-seven given to the last priests predecessor, by Osiris himself. They are the Collective Blades of Osiris, and are extremely valuable to our faith." He replied

"Fascinating" I exclaimed, "Could you show me the rest of the temple?"

"Of course," He said still smiling, and he signaled me to follow. As I walked by the altar, I slipped the dagger into my bag, and followed him. We began to enter tunnels going left and right, and up and down, in an order so specific, that I had no hope of memorizing it, and eventually came out into a small windowless room, with chains on the walls.

"What is this place?" I implored him... watching as he turned around cautiously, and gestured with his hands.

"This is where you will be staying," He concluded, as I was grabbed from behind by the guards standing to each side of the door, and thrust to my knees. "for attempting to steal the dagger of Osiris."

"Please let me go, I will return the dagger." I attempted to negotiate, while he reached inside of my bag to remove the dagger.

"Why did you steal it" he interrogated, "And who are you?"

"My name is Saironellotoron, and we require a blade of Osiris, in order to activate an amulet for my friend." I informed him.

"Why didn't you try to ask for one, when you figured what it was?" He pursued

"Because you deceived him of their value, High Priest, and yet they are very cheap to come by." A voice said from behind him. Instantaneously, he and the guards turned on a heel and knelt before the speaker.

"Who are you?" I asked, although I already knew.

"Osiris is what these men call me, although the Egyptians called me by that name first. Apparently, my High Priest has lost his skill at evangelism, if you did not recognize me."

"My liege, would you please unchain me, your High Priest, had his guards chain me up, for a crime you clearly don't care about."

"And I will give you a Blade of Osiris, but if I ever catch you in one of my temples again, I will reap you immediately. Are we understood?" He snapped, and I caught the Blade of Osiris with my now unchained hands. Then realized that I was outside the temple, and then Saironelloistya and Aranellevanima were walking back. I stowed the knife in my bag, and waited for them to return.

Point of view change back to First Person Saironelloistya

Upon concluding his tale, Saironellotoron withdrew the Blade of Osiris, and handed it to me, where I inspected it and handed it back. "It is yours to hold on to, Saironellotoron, you earned it." Then we called Nimloth and informed her of our progress. Immediately following the call, We went to Daedalus's tomb, with the intent of collecting his Tome of Magic and Mechanics, but it would not prove as easy as we had anticipated.
