Chapter 25- My Song

Joey's POV

Shane pulled me into his dressing room then shut the door. I was confused but he wrapped around my waist and brought our faces close together.

Shane: So now that you're famous...

Joey: Stop it.

Shane: Anyways, I wanted to know if you would come on stage with me.

Joey: What? No, no. Not in front of all of those people.

Shane. Please? I have a surprise for you.

Joey: I don't like being in front of so many people.

Shane: Just look at me or Brittany and Lisa off stage. Come on.

Joey: I don't know...

He leans forward and connects our lips. I know he's only doing this to get me on stage but I kiss back anyways. He pulls away and looks at me, waiting for my answer.

Joey: Fine.

Shane: Yay! Thanks babe!

I hear a knock at the door. Shane spins me around then takes my hand and opens the door. Lisa stands there.

Lisa: Hurry!

Shane guides me over to the side of the stage. I can hear all of those people out there. I begin to feel dizzy again.

Shane: It will be ok. It took me time to used to being on stage.

Joey: I can't do it.

Shane: Yes you can. I'll signal you when it's time to come on ok?

Joey; Fine but I'm not staying out there the whole time.

Shane: Fine. Get ready.

He gave me a quick kiss before walking on stage. Brittany walked up to me.

Brittany: Good luck.

I glare at her for a second then I turn my attention back to Shane.

Shane: Before we start I would like my boyfriend, Joey, to come on stage.

He looked at me and waved his hand signaling that I had to go on. I took a deep breath before walking over to Shane. He held my hand. I tried not to shake once I saw the audience.

Shane: So this is my boyfriend and I asked him to come out here because I wrote a song for him.

A song? He wrote me a song? I blushed which I'm pretty sure everyone could see. He let go of my hand. I heard his band start to play music. I watched with a smile on my face as he began to sing the song he wrote for me.

(There is no song. SORRY! I'm not a fricken song writer!)

It was beautiful. I really wanted to kiss him but we were on stage. When he finished singing he turned to me. He held my both of my hands in his. He smiled and stared at my eyes. Then he finally said...

Shane: I love you Joey.

He said "I love you"! He said he loves me! That was the first time he's said that. Before I could react, his lips were on mine and we were kissing in front of so many people. When he pulled he let go of me and walked back to the microphone.

He said something but I didn't listen. I walked back off stage to where I was standing before. I could hear him singing again. His beautiful singing.

Brittany: Oh my god! That was the cutest thing I've ever seen!

For the rest of the concert Brittany and I sang and danced to music. When It was over Shane walked up to me. Before I could do anything, he gave me a kiss. When he pulled away he spoke.

Shane: Wanna go meet some fans?
