Chapter 26- 6 Days

Joey's POV

We were backstage meeting with some fans. I was nervous because I felt like most of his fans would hate me because I had Shane and they didn't. But Shane reassured me that it would be fine.

Shane has been taking pictures and signing things. A few people asked about us. But I mainly stood by Shane nervously.

After a while I was getting bored. Shane could tell. He kissed my cheek and whispered.

Shane: Only a little while longer. I promise.

A few minutes later a girl suddenly runs up to Shane. She grabs his neck and kisses him. I expect him to push her right away but he doesn't. My heart breaks. Did he lie to me?

I run away from. I hear footsteps but I continue to run. I find an empty room near Shane's dressing room. I run inside and lock the door. I hear knocking and Brittany calling my name. I ignore her and sit on the floor crying into my hands.

Eventually the knocking stops and it's silent. Then I hear Shane's voice. I try my hardest to block him out.

Shane: Open the door or I will break it down.

I stop crying and slowly open the door. Shane's arm immediately wrap around me. I let myself cry into his chest. He rubs my back and leads me into his dressing room.

Joey: Do you still love me?

Shane: I'm sorry Joey. Of course I love you.

Joey: Then why didn't you pull away?

Shane: I was too shocked to do anything. No fan has ever tried to make out with me. Well other than you.

I laughed a little. I felt much better by now.

Shane: I swear I don't like her. I like guys. And you're my guy. I love you Joey.

I grab his cheeks and quickly kiss him. He kisses me back happily. Oh how I'm so lucky to have Shane.

Joey: I love you too.

Shane: You do?

He looked surprised but happy. I nodded.

Joey: Of course I love you.

Shane: I was worried that I freaked you out on stage and that you didn't love me back.

Joey: How could anyone not love you?

Shane: Well some people are jealous that I have you.

Joey: You're lying!

Shane: I'm not. I was talking to a few fans and they said that you were extremely hot. And of course I agreed. Look at you.

Joey: Stop it!

Shane: Well I want you to always remember that I love you no matter how crazy our fans get.

Joey: I will.

I hug him again. Then we sit down on the couch.

Joey: When do I have go back home?

Shane: 6 days.

Joey: I don't want to leave. I just want to be with you.

Shane: I know. But my tour is almost over. I have to stop at my home then I could visit you

Joey: You have a house? Aren't you always traveling?

Shane: Well the house is for my mother and father. I lived there before I started touring. Anyways it won't be long until you'll see me again.

Joey: I know but I miss you all of the time.

Shane: Well we have 6 days together. I have two concerts and the rest of the time we can spend together.

I hop onto his lap and wrap my arms around his neck. I bring our faces close enough to kiss. But I just stare into his beautiful eyes. I love him so much. I can't believe out of his millions of fans he chose me. I lean forward and close the gap. This moment couldn't be more perfect. Just the two of us alone. I need to make the most of the next 6 days.
