Joey's POV

I woke up feeling horrible. I felt sick to my stomach. I quickly ran to my bathroom and threw up into the toilet.

I definitely am sick. I laid back down on my bed.

The worst part was I really missed Shane. I wish he was here taking care of me.

I cover myself with blankets and take a nap. I woke up later to my phone ringing. It was Brittany.

Joey: Hello?

Brittany: Why aren't you at school?

Joey: I'm sick.

Brittany: Are you ok?

Joey: Yeah. I'll be fine.

Brittany: Have you talked to Shane yet? I know he always make you feel better.

Joey: Not yet. I've been lazy and sleeping.

Brittany: Did you tell him yesterday?

Joey: Yeah I did.

Brittany: Good. Now go call your boyfriend. Maybe he'll sing to you.

Joey: Alright. Bye.

I hang up and immediately call Shane. He doesn't answer so I leave him a text.

Joey: Hey babe! I'm sick and bored so call me soon. I miss you and I love you <3

I lay back down in bed. I drift off to sleep again. I wake up to my phone ringing again. But this time Shane is calling.

Joey: Hey Shane.

Shane: I heard that my baby is sick.

Joey: I am. It sucks. I just want to cuddle with you all day.

Shane: Aww. I'm sorry I can't be there. I wish I could cuddle with you all day too.

Joey: Shane?

Shane: Yeah?

Joey: Will you sing me a song?

Shane: Of course! And I know which one to sing.

A couple seconds pass then I hear him singing my song. The one he wrote for me.

*No it's not Superluv. I already have a whole story based off of that song.*

I close my eyes and listen to him sing. When he's done I lay silent.

Joey: How long?

Shane: For what?

Joey: When I can see you again.

Shane: I don't know. Soon babe, I can promise that.

Joey: What do you mean by that?

Shane: I have no idea when we'll see each but I know we won't be apart for long.

Joey: Sorry if I seem clingy but sometimes I wish I had you all to myself and no one else would ever see you again.

Shane: I feel the same. Just hang on babe.

Joey: Ok. I'm gonna go take another nap. I love you. Bye.

Shane: I love you too. Sweet dreams baby. Bye.

I hang up and turn over on my bed. I smile and fall asleep again. I know I'll see him soon. I know I will.
