Joey's POV

It has been a week since I first searched up Shane Dawson.

I've basically became a super fan of him.

I've heard every one of his songs. I've see every video or interview about him. And I follow every blog about him.

Brittany says I'm obsessed. Maybe but Shane is so amazing.

He's hot, kind, and down to earth unlike most celebrities.

Brittany: Joey? Hello?

Joey: Huh? What?

Brittany: Are you daydreaming over Shane again?

She laughed. I didn't. I realized that I still haven't told her I was gay. Would it make things weird between us? Would it make her feel bad about joking around all of the time?

I glanced around the hall. No one really ever paid any attention to us. I look back at Brittany.

Joey: Hey Brittany?

Brittany: Yeah?

Joey: I need to tell you something.

Brittany: What is it?

Joey: I'm actually... gay.

Brittany: Really?

Joey: Yeah.

I was prepared for the worst. But I wasn't prepared for the best. She gave me a big hug.

Brittany: I would've never guessed but I'm so proud of you! I would've never found the courage to say that. That was very brave.

She pulls back with a big smile on her face. I smile back. What a relief. Now I have no secrets I'm keeping from her.

Brittany: So do you actually think Shane is hot?

Joey: Of course! Haven't you seem him?

We both laughed. She grabbed my wrist and lead me to our bus. She was coming over to my house today just to hang out.

As soon as the bus stop we both got up and ran off the bus. We finally reached my house.

Joey: I'm home! And Brittany is here!

Mom: Hi Joey! Hi Brittany!

We dumped our backpacks in my bedroom then we sat down on the couch in my living room.

Brittany turned on the tv. We flipped through a bunch of channels until Brittany gasped and pointed at the tv.

Brittany: Joey! Look! Shane is on tv!

I look up. He is on tv. Wow, he looks hot. We decide to finish watching whatever this is.

Woman: So Shane, there has been some rumors going around about you and Luke Conard dating.

Shane: Well we were-

Woman: So you admit that you're gay?

Shane: Yes. I am gay.

Brittany and I look right at each other. I look back at Shane. At that exact second I knew I was in love with Shane Dawson.

Woman: Then why did you and Luke break up?

Shane: Well, he cheated on me. I guess it just wasn't going to work out.

Woman: Oh. So you're single and gay.

I zoned out there.

Shane Dawson is single and gay.

Maybe he'll like me. Maybe we can be friends. Or boyfriends.

Boyfriend.

That felt so good to say.

Shane: My next concert is on the 3rd and I'm going to be in Boston.

This had to be meant to be.

Shane is gay and coming to Boston.

Maybe I can make him fall in love with me. That would make me the happiest boy in the world.
