Shane's POV

Shane: We need to go on a vacation somewhere. Someplace where Luke won't follow us.

Joey: But Luke will just follow us.

Shane: I'll have Lisa take care of everything. It will be a surprise vacation.

Joey: That sounds like fun.

Shane: Yeah. How about we go to sleep. I'm tired.

Joey: Me too.

I leaned down and kissed him. When I pulled away I wiped any tears that were still on his face.

He still looked so scared. I wrapped my arms around him. We laid down.

Shane: I love you Joey. And I want you to know that you can tell me anything babe. I won't ever get upset.

Joey: Promise?

Shane: I promise.

Joey: Ok. I love you too.

He cuddled into my chest. I watched him slowly fall asleep. Once he did, I kissed the too of his head and fell asleep myself.

Joey's POV

I smelled something and woke up. It was morning. My mom was bringing Shane and me breakfast in bed. Shane was already up.

Joey: What's this for?

Mom: I have a feeling you're going to leave soon. I wanted to do something special for you before you go.

Joey: Aww. Thanks mom.

Mom: Well enjoy.

She kissed my cheek and left the room. I looked at Shane.

Shane: You know your mom is awesome.

Joey: I guess.

Shane: She lets you run around with your rockstar boyfriend all the way across the country.

I laughed and kissed him. We ate breakfast and laid in bed.

Shane: Joey?

Joey: Yeah?

Shane: When I talked to Luke last night, he made it seem like he hurt you. Is there anything you aren't telling me?

My heart started to race. Do I tell him? Or should I lie? I felt tears start to form. He was looking at me. He would know what's going on.

Shane: I told you I wouldn't get upset.

Joey: L-luke... He...

Shane: What did he do?

Joey: H-he...

I didn't want to say it. I just wanted to forget all about it. I have no idea how Shane will react either.

Shane: Come on. You can tell me.

Joey: Shane... Luke raped me...

Shane's POV

Please tell me I didn't hear that correctly.

Shane: What?

Joey: He raped me Shane!

He cried into my chest. I rubbed his back. I didn't know what to do or what to say.

I was in shock.
