Never Forget

The Past that Seeks

I was inside my room, not wanting to deal with anybody. Natsu and Gray are vampires, my best friend, Levy, is a witch, and Erza might be a vampire just like them!

I exit out the bathroom when suddenly, I get startled by Natsu showing up in front of me.

"Oh my God! Please, just leave me alone."

I sprint towards the door and opened it but Natsu shuts it close.

"You can ask me anything. I'll answer it with full honesty. Just please, don't be afraid of me. I won't hurt you."

I turn around and face Natsu. Tears were showing up and they fell. I sob, trembling.

"When were you born?"

"1405."

"How old are you?"

"611 years old."

"When's your birthday?"

"July 2nd."

"Your birthday...it's the day after my birthday. Why'd you come here?"

"To explain to you everything."

I pause for a moment as the trembling stops.

"Can we...um, sit down?" I asked, and Natsu nods.

He sits down on the bed as I sit down next to him.

"Tell me who Lisanna Strauss is. Full description."

Natsu sighs and looks at the floor.

"In the year 1423, I was 18 years old. I met Lisanna during a Masquerade Ball. We chose to be partners and danced. When I started to speak with her, I began to fall in love. Once she met my brother, Lisanna slept with him and cheated on me. I wasn't surprised since she was in love with Gray and I at the same time. After all the cheating and sleeping, I was still in love with Lisanna. Gray took her away from me and laughed at me that I couldn't do nothing.

Afterwards, Gray and I found out that Lisanna was a vampire. We weren't afraid for some reason.

Later on in 1424, Lisanna bit me and turned me into a vampire. I thought that being a vampire would be so awesome and that I can live for eternity but...I later knew that it wasn't easy. The cravings for blood was difficult and I kept killing people. When I was young, I was really immature. I would always tell Gray to suck it up and just drink humans. I used to be Gray in the past and Gray used to be me. By the time Gray turned into a blood thirsty monster, I was already under control. Lisanna returned soon after when suddenly, one of the council members stabbed Lisanna and now, she's going through a very long sleep. If someone were to remove that silver knife from her heart, she would be revived by blood.

So yeah. That's what happened with Lisanna."

I was speechless. Natsu and Gray has been through so much during these 611 years!

"So, I'm now thinking that you wouldn't want to talk to me ever again. Just please, don't tell anyone about this–"

I quickly lean in and touch my lips against his. I caress his cheeks and bring him down on my bed.

I get on top of him, continuing to kiss him.

Natsu reacts and snakes his arms on my waist. His hands go under my shirt as my palms go down to his chest.

I parted the kiss and stare at him in the eyes.

"I can't help but think that I fell in love with you in a blink of an eye." I said, blushing.

"Yeah...I love you too, Lucy."

I smile as Natsu takes a strand of my hair behind my ear.

We return into kissing and I started to remove his jacket and scarf.

God, he makes my heart pump really quick.

The next morning, it was Saturday. I wake up with my head resting against Natsu's bare chest.

I smile and kiss his cheek. I get up and wrap the blanket around my body.

I go towards my wardrobe and open the drawers. I grab a pair of jeans and a white designed top.

Afterwards, I walk towards the bathroom and opened the door. Once I entered the restroom, I close the door behind me and set my clothes down on top of the basket.

I turn on the faucet and set the water to warm temperature.

I drop the blanket down to the floor and get inside the bath tub.

I slide the glass door shut and turned the shower heading towards me.

20 minutes passed already, and I change into my clothes. I exit out the bathroom while drying my hair with the towel and saw Natsu looking at me with a smile.

"What?" I asked, smiling as I turn to face the mirror.

"You're missing something in that outfit of yours."

"And what is that?"

Natsu runs in a fast pace behind me and gives me a small box.

I gasp a little, grabbing it. I open up the small box and inside was a silver necklace.

"Whoa, it looks so beautiful." I said, my eyes sparkling up.

I grab the necklace and looked at it. It was a blue stone with a carved rose.

"Here. Go ahead and put it on me." I said, giving the necklace to Natsu.

He nods and grabs the necklace. I get a hold of my hair and look at what he's doing in the mirror.

He gently places the blue stone against my chest and wraps the chain around my neck.

Natsu successfully puts the necklace on my neck and I let go of my hair.

I smile while blushing and turned around.

"Thank you. It's really beautiful."

He smirks and kisses me.

"Your very welcome."
