Lucy

"Meet me at Cana's Grill tomorrow. I would love for the both of us to get to know each other." Anna said, and I gulp.

"How do I know that you're not hostile?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at her.

"Honey, I'm your ancestor from 100 years. I wouldn't do anything to hurt you. Plus, your mother and I were really great friends." Anna replied, smiling.

I mean...she looks friendly.

"Okay. I'm sorry for asking that question. Anyways, what time?"

"2:00 PM. I'll see you soon, Lucy."

With that, Anna runs off.

I'm guessing she's a vampire.

The next day, I open the doors to Cana's Grill. I looked around and saw Anna waving at me to come.

"Lucy! Over here!" Anna yelled, smiling.

Oh no...she's still wearing the 1916 outfit!

What the hell is she thinking wearing the 20's style?!

I rush towards her and she stands up, greeting me.

"Lucy, I'm so glad you came. I was starting to think you wouldn't come." Anna said, hugging me.

"Uh, I'm only 5 minutes late, Anna. And, what's up with the outfit!? You're from the 20's and you can't possibly be wearing that in 2016." I said, whispering a bit.

A lot of people in the grill were staring us.

"What? This outfit is amazing. I don't understand, Lucy."

"You need to blend in, Anna. We don't wear those long, 20's skirts anymore." I said, sweat dropping.

"What?! How come you didn't tell me anything!?"

"I thought you'd notice by how people dress now a days."

Anna sighs and smiles. I can sense that she's getting excited.

"Then let's go shopping!"

"Shopping?!"

Anna grabs my hand and sprints out of the grill.

"C'mon, Lucy! Which one shall we go?" Anna said, looking at the shops in the streets.

"Uh, to Forever 21?" I asked.

"Is it really going to stay as 21!? Oh, that's a coincidence. I was 21 when I first turned into a vampire." Anna said, gasping.

I dead panned and shake my head.

"Lets go. We have tons of clothing and accessories to catch up on." I said, smiling.

I pull her into the store and the first thing Anna did was gasp.

"This is my song! How come they don't put the original?" Anna asked, dancing to Hit the Road, Jack.

"Uh, because this is 2016 and people sing covers." I said.

"Oh. That's great! Although this cover is good, I like the original best."

I chuckle a little when suddenly, a store employee comes towards us.

"Hello, ladies. Welcome to Forever 21. How may I help you?"

"Ah, I come from the 20–"

"My aunt here wants new clothes after buying this long skirt from the 20's. She found a chest filled with costumes and such and someone sold the whole chest to her in return of her clothes. Now my aunt needs brand new clothes."

"Oh, that's horrific! Don't worry, I got you covered. Please, follow me, ma'am." The employee says, smiling as she walks further.

"I'll be right back, honey." Anna says, and I nod.

"Okay. I'll go ahead and browse through the clothes."

She follows the employee, who shows her a lot of the clothes they have in Forever 21.

"How old are you, ma'am?" The employee asked, and Anna smiles.

I widen my eyes and sprint towards Anna and the
employee.

"I'm 100 years–"

"She's 21 years old. Pardon on what she's saying. She kind of has amnesia and my aunt assumes that she's 100 or much more." I said, interrupting.

"Oh, I see! Well, I have the perfect clothes for you! Please, go inside the changing room and I'll hand you clothes for you to wear." The employee said, smiling.

"Ah, okay."

Anna nods and walk towards the changing room. I sigh and shrug.

Anna really needs to play pretend.

I sit down on the couch and waited for the employee to give the clothes to Anna.

"Hey, will these suit her?" The employee asks, showing me all these types of outfits.

She was holding in three of them.

The first one was a white and blue dress. The skirt was blue and the top was white. But the skirt has white polka dots with a bow wrapped around the waist.

"That looks magnificent." I said, pointing to the blue and white dress.

The second one was a simple black dress with a small jacket.

"She'll like that one."

The third and last one was a loosed, blue top with a white blouse. For the bottom half of the body, she was holding a pair of ripped jeans.

"She'll love all of these outfits. What size are all of those outfits?" I asked.

"Medium."

"That's perfect. You can go ahead and give them to her."

The employee goes ahead and gives Anna the clothes.

Suddenly, after 10 seconds, Anna was already done changing into her first outfit, which was the white and blue dress.

She spins around and smiles, the employee shocked.

"Whoa. That was pretty fast!"

"Well, I change really quick. I am a fast lady, after all." Anna smirked, looking at herself in the mirror.

"You look amazing, Anna. How much does this dress cost?" I asked, taking out my wallet.

"Oh no, Lucy. She will give all of the outfits you and I choose for free." Anna said, and I widen my eyes.

"Wait, what?" The employee asked.

Anna's eyes glow brown and I sighed.

"You will give the outfits Lucy and I choose for free only. If someone asks you why, tell them because we're pretty special. That's it. Do hit understand?" Anna asked, compelling her.

"Yes."

I mean, at least I don't have to waste any money.

"Now Lucy. Let's go and get our clothes!"
