Lucy
I'm almost there! I'm almost home!
I look down to my wound and it kept bleeding. God, perhaps I should go to the hospital but I need to see Natsu and the rest!
I turn left and I can see Natsu and Gray's house in the distance!
I drive faster and once I reached the house, I parked the truck. I get out of the truck and limp towards the door.
I take a few steps up the stairs of the front entrance and knock on the door.
"S-Someone...open the door." J stuttered.
The door opens to reveal Levy and she gasps, horrified.
"Lu-chan! Oh my God!"
She starts to cry and I smile, collapsing in her arms.
"L-Levy...it's so good to see you again."
"Lu-chan, I'm so sorry. I'm such a horrible best friend." Levy said, and I smile.
"N-No, you're an amazing best friend, Levy. I thank you...for that."
She helps me go inside the house and closes the door. Levy sits me down on the couch and I wince in pain.
"Natsu!! Erza!! Please! Lu-chan came!!"
I breathe in and out slowly, until I felt a gust of wind.
I turn to my left and saw Natsu looking at me speechless with tears in his eyes.
I smile sadly and stood up. Erza came also and gasps.
"Lucy..." She said, appalled to see me in this state.
"Hey...guys." I replied, tears flowing down my cheeks.
Natsu rushes towards me and wraps his arms around me, hugging me tightly.
He sobs and I lower my eyes in sadness.
"Uff...Lucy. I'm...I'm so sorry!"
"Th-There's no need for apologizing, Natsu. You didn't know–"
"Oh, I should have known! I should've known that it wasn't you..."
I smile when suddenly, I heard laughter coming from the hallway.
"Ha ha ha! That's adorable. What's next? You two getting married?"
I turn around and saw the woman that transformed into me. Dimaria, was it?
Natsu protectively stands in front of me and Erza runs towards Dimaria, pinning her into the wall.
"Gah! You gotta stop doing that, Erza! Jeez, you're so much different from your mother. Although you do look like her." Dimaria says, and Erza grits her teeth.
"What the hell are you talking about? I have no mother!"
"Oh really?"
"I'm sick of talking to you right now. You're going back the chamber."
Erza takes Dimaria back downstairs in the basement and I sigh.
"Is...Erza gonna be okay?" I ask, looking at Natsu breathlessly.
"Yeah, but are you alright?"
"Y-Yeah, I'm fine–"
I suddenly collapse in Natsu's arms and close my eyes, feeling exhausted.
"Lucy!"
"Oh no! She's exhausted! We have to call Mira so she can help her with her wounds!" Levy shouted, and I nod.
"I'll take Lucy to her room. Call her quick!"
Levy nods and she takes out her phone. I run up the stairs and into Lucy's room, laying her down on the bed.
"Don't worry, Lucy. You'll be okay, I promise."
Lucy starts to cry softly and I grab her hand, squeezing it to reassure her that everything will be fine.
"N-Natsu...I've been through so much over there with A-Anna. I want a...break. I want a break from this disastrous life. I never...wanted my life to be filled with many supernatural things. I just want to be happy and life a normal l-life. That's all I ask for." Lucy covers her eyes with her right hand and I cries, trembling.
"Lucy, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. This life of yours all began with me. All of these enemies coming after you...maybe we shouldn't have met at all."
"Our lives would be different if we hadn't met each other." Lucy says, and I grit my teeth.
"I...I don't want this. I don't to end this."
"I'm sorry, Natsu. I don't want to do this either but...it's for the best, y'know? I love you."
"I love you, too." I said, holding back tears.
"Hey, Natsu? What about the tickets for Hawaii?"
"What do you want me to do with them? I...uh...still have them." I sniff, letting go of her hand.
"Can you give them to Gray and Juvia? I...I'm sure they'll love to go to Hawaii. Give it t-to them when they come back from Paris." Lucy says, and I nodded.
"Yeah, alright. Um, I think that's Mira rushing down the halls. She's gonna heal you." I said, standing up from the bed.
"O-Okay..."
We were silent for a moment until Lucy brings something up.
"You do know that no one is telling us to do this, right?"
"Yeah, I do. It's our decision."
The door opens to reveal Mira going inside the room.
"Oh my God, Lucy! What happened to her!?" Mira shouted, shocked.
"Just take care of her, Mira. Please."
I run out of the room and stop in the living room, Levy looking at me.
"Natsu...what's wrong?"
"Uh...I think your best friend need you, Levy."
"Wait, what happened? It looks like you cried. Did something happen to Lu-chan!?"
"N-No, nothing's wrong with her. Uh, Lucy and I broke up." I said.
"Oh...no. I'm so sorry, Natsu. Why? You guys were happy together!"
"She didn't wanted this lifestyle. I blame myself for meeting her the first time. I want her to live a normal life. Not with me though."
Levy looks sad but nods in understanding.
"W-What are you gonna do now?"
"I'm turning off my humanity."
"What!? Natsu, if you turn off your humanity, you won't have any emotions at all whatsoever! You'll become destructive and murderous! You can't do this!"
"I don't want to feel this way anymore. I'm tired of it."
"Natsu, stop!!"
I close my eyes and take a deep breath. I can hear Levy standing up from the couch and running towards me.
"NATSU!!"
I open my eyes and Levy stops, her eyes wide and horrified.
"N-Natsu...?"
"Oh, hey Levy. Why you look so scared?"
Levy steps away from me slowly, completely shocked.
I smirk, feeling my eyes turning red,
"W-What are you planning on doing?"
"That's none of your business, moron."
With that, I run off into the streets.
