Natsu

As I walk down the streets, minding my own cold hearted business, I suddenly was stopped by none other than Gray.

"Oh, great. What do you want?" I ask, going passed him but he grabs my arm.

"Do not fucking walk away from me, Natsu. It's your fault for putting Lucy in this!"

"What? What the hell did I do?"

I was confused and didn't understand what he was saying.

"Lucy is about to commit suicide by jumping off somewhere and that's all because of you! She's sad, Natsu! She's been sad ever since you fucking turned off your humanity switch! How can you be so dumb!?"

My heart suddenly sinks and I widen my eyes.

Lucy...she's about to die.

"W-What?"

"You're gonna have to save her. Her life is in your hands."

I run off without even a second thought as tears fall down my cheeks.

No way! Lucy...I can't lose her!

What the hell was I thinking!? Turning off my humanity...

I had to track her down. I stop running and close my eyes as the heavy rain pours down.

"C'mon, Natsu. Focus."

I get a glimpse of a church and blonde hair. Aha! That's where she is!

I run off again but the heavy rain just makes it harder for me to see. I made it to the church and looked up. I saw Lucy spreading her arms and jumping off.

"Lucy!!"

Just as she was about to fall, I quickly caught her in my arms and she gasps, surprised that she didn't touched the ground.

"W-What?"

She looks at me and I look at her. I was carrying her bridal style as she stares at me in shock.

"Natsu...?"

Tears were still streaming down my cheeks and I grit my teeth.

"Don't...d-don't do this again."

I set her down and hugged her tightly, trembling.

"Natsu..."

She starts to cry as well and hugs me back as the rain pours down.

"Th-This is all my fault. I...I shouldn't have shut down my humanity. I'm sorry. B-Because of me...you almost died."

"I wouldn't have died, Natsu. I would still have your vampire blood in my system."

"B-But I don't want you to become a vampire!! It's hard! And I don't want you to have this difficult life style." I sobbed, burying my face into her neck.

She didn't say anything. Only cried and stayed in the rain for who knows how long.

I feel guilty. I remember everything I did when I was careless. I want to do something to Lucy than say a simple word 'sorry'.

I'll do something.
