"It's almost Gray's birthday? Oh, wow. How old will he be?" Levy asked.
"He's gonna turn 613 years old. I'm really excited to help throw the party! I was wondering if you would like to join."
"Of course! It's a birthday, after all–"
"Who's birthday?" Juvia asked, popping in the conversation.
"Gray's."
The moment I said Gray's name, Juvia's eyes lit up and she screams.
"Aaah!! It's almost Gray-sama's birthday!? Juvia will definitely participate in his party! Oh, what should Juvia get him!?"
"Get him whiskey and a bag of really cold ice. He always drinks whiskey when I visit Natsu's house." I replied, giving her small advice.
"Oh, sure! Juvia will buy him whiskey and a bag of ice! But, Juvia wants to buy him another birthday present. What does he usually like?"
"Hmm, vampires' skin are meant to be cold, so I think clothing for Gray wouldn't suit him. Hmm, how about jewelry? Maybe like a necklace?" Levy suggested, and that brought Juvia an idea.
"Yes! Juvia will buy Gray-sama a necklace! Thanks, Levy and Lucy!" Juvia stands up and grabs her purse.
She heads out the door and I smile.
"She's so cute when she talks about someone she loves." I said.
"Yeah."

"Alright, so we got all the invitations and all the materials we need to throw the party, right?" Mira asked.
"Uh, yeah. Mira, don't worry. This party will be a blast."
"Wait, what if my friends don't show to come!? Oh no!"
I chuckle at Mira's panic mode.
"I'm sure they will. This is 2016 for crying out loud! Everyone shows up at parties."
Mira sighs and smiles.
"Very well. I expect to see my friends at Natsu and Gray's house. Understood?"
"Yes, ma'am. The party will be a blast for Gray!"
God, I hope so.
"Lucy! Is this necklace and whiskey what Gray would like?!" Juvia asked, rushing inside my house.
"Juvia!"
Juvia sets down the mini and giant bag on the counter. She grabs the mini bag and reaches out for the small box.
Juvia opens it and reveals the necklace to me.
"Whoa, Juvia! This looks expensive!" I gasped, grabbing the box.
As Mira and I observe and admire the necklace, a shine appears on the cross.
"It's a silver cross! Juvia didn't know what was cooler! The ice shaped necklace or the cross! So Juvia chose the cross! Will Gray-sama even like the cross!? Ugh! Rejection is the worst thing that can happen to Juvia!"
"Juvia, he'll love it. I'm pretty sure Gray will wear it." I said, smiling.
"Lucy is right. Gray will wear this because it's silver...and it will remind him of his birth father, Silver."
